Monroe County KOA

As always the staff was very friendly and helpful. The campgrounds were well-maintained and clean. The bathrooms were also well-maintained and clean! They have cut down some trees to make some of the sites more accessible for the larger rigs, but getting big rigs in is still a bit of an issue. I have a friend who's trailer alone is 44 feet, she has a F3 50 that she halls with and chooses not to unhook. Unfortunately there are only 2 sites at this particular place that have enough clearance for her to turn in and properly position herself. That would be the only downside that I can give to this particular place. They have a nice swimming lake, as well as a fishing and canoeing lake. There is a cute little put putt golf area and a well-maintained and appointed kids play area. My favorite part is the waterslide. There is also a nice dog park in the back. They do not have sewer hook ups at the sites, but they do have some sites with cable, water and electric, many sites with water and electric and some rustic areas as well. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
