Perfect for us. Easy on easy off interstate 86. Open year round which is very helpful for us as we are snowbirds.

Nice little spot to pull over for some r&r if you’re on a long trip. Right off the expressway and a great place for full hookups. Bathrooms need some work but that’s why you have full hookups.

Campground Response

Thanks Tom; your review is spot on. We are working on the plumbing in the bathrooms, and your observation about using "full hookups" is appreciated. Please come back soon. Bob

I am one of those people who never leave a review good or bad about anything, but yet reading reviews is what I use in my decision making....but I felt compelled to leave a review on my experience at Misty Mountain in Cuba NY..... I have never camped in an Rv but once with my husband. He did everything, so I knew nothing. When he passed away I found out that I am just too small to drive a 40 foot rv, leastwise take care of it. So I traded it in and bought a 25 foot rv and then did crash courses and self taught myself as best I could, grabbed my bestie and my animals and booked a 3 night excursion to Misty Mountain..... When we got there, I utilized what I learned, set it up and then ran into a snag ... nothing big, just a little uncertainty. I came upon what I would refer to as the manager, Paul. This man was about as helpful as a person I've ever met. Throughout my stay, right to the end, he was able to alieve my aniexity and made our stay one of the most relaxing moments I've had since my husband passed. There were not a lot of campers at this time of the year, but enough so we didn't feel alone. We walked the grounds, put the 4 small pups into their stroller and took them to the enclosed dog park twice a day located on the grounds and they were so excited! We also walked them and ourselves on a short walk to town where everything you could need was available. There were many anemities that we didn't use because we came prepared, but I need to say the wifi was even better than my own home. There are so many more things I could talk about, but instead I'll just tell you that this is a must go to if your looking for a pleasant experience. I end this review with a big thank you to Paul (and Bob) for making this the highlight of my year and I will be back! See you next year!

Campground Response

Chris we are so glad you enjoyed the "cool vibe" of the Park. You are now a part of our "Family." Paul is the best! See you next season 😁 Bob and Paul

quaint camping area just outside the village of Cuba. Well kept, includes a pond with paddle boat. The park is small but perfect for a quick stop or a weekend with the grand children.

Campground Response

Thanks so much Diane. It is a back to nature campground but close to so much. Please visit again soon. Bob and Paul

Nice quiet park. The band playing there Saturday night was a nice surprise! Bathroom definitely needs updating and cleaning.

Campground Response

Agree with bathroom issues! Finally have a plumber. Repairs should be done this week. Please visit again soon. Bob

This was one of the best campgrounds I have stayed at for a long time. It was quiet, the host was great and put me in the middle and away from mosquitoes. The bathroom was clean. All in all a must try.

Campground Response

Thanks William. Quiet is good, and Paul is a caring host. Safe travels. Bob and Paul

My annual stay at Misty Mountain on the way to Letchworth State Park is usually a pleasant experience, but not this time. There was no hot water in the shower building in the morning! I’m not sure what the problem was, but there didn’t seem to be any one around in charge or attempting to rectify the situation. I just had to leave without being able to shower. I was not a happy camper (pun intended)!

Campground Response

Must be you stayed on night. We did have a couple of days out of oil to heat the boilers. There's plenty of hot water now. Bob

DO NOT STAY AT THIS RV PARK!! No amenities. Showers are broken and there is NO Hot water. Laundry has only ONE (1) washer and dryer that work. The park flunky PAUL is Rude and accuses people of doing things that they do not do. I DO NOT recommend this park!!!

Campground Response

Please Raul. Use your name? Have a nice trip back to Texas. Bob

The campsite was nice but not special. Restrooms were terrible. They were very outdated and not clean. No toilet paper. When my wife went into the women's restroom, there was a guy taking a shower. When she asked why he was not using the men's restroom, he said it was too dirty. I will not be staying here again.

Campground Response

We are working on the bathrooms and laundry. You stayed one night; thanks. I'll take 3 stars especially since you suggest "I will not be staying here again." Of course that is your choice. If you come back the park will better. Thanks. Bob

As i stated, we never even got to stay ONE night! I did my best to cancel our paid for reservation as soon as possible when we had RV issues, but it was impossible to get in touch with ANYONE to accomplish that! Shame on you for being so hateful.

Campground Response

Of course trolls don't admit they are trolls. I will not respond further as I have processed a refund. Stay away as you promised PLEASE and THANK YOU 🙏 Bob

Bob, I appreciate your response but i am NOT a troll. I made and paid $60.87 on my Visa for our future reservation on 5-28-2024 on Roverpass. Our reservation was for Aug 12, site #12, confirmation # 240312. The above info should allow you to ck and see i am not a troll. The reservation was under Sarah Kee. If I had a good email address for you, I would be happy to forward you a copy of our res confirmation. Sarah Kee

Campground Response

Now 2 Stars. You stayed one night; too much drama for one night. By far and away our reviews are outstanding. Your words about me are not true. Please don't come back as you stated. I have processed the maximum refund. Bob

Paul made our visit feel like we were among family. The first thing we noticed was that the sites were freshly mowed which had not been our experience at most of the campgrounds we stayed at as we made the trip from FL to NY. Paul was friendly and gave us pointers on where to eat in town. The small town is old and there are markers along the sidewalk explaining who & what happened there. We enjoyed having a meal and smoothie there. The pond is relaxing to look at with a backdrop of the rolling hills of NY. Easy on/off from 86. The next morning we were heading out and the RV had a slow leak in one of the tires. Paul came and helped us put on the spare and topped it off with air. Once again, it felt like being amongst family. He wanted to make sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be back!!!!

Campground Response

Paul is absolutely amazing. Your kind words and the time spent writing the review are so appreciated. I will be sure Paul reads your fabulous review. Come back soon. Thanks 👍🙏 Bob

Very expensive and disappointing experience! We made and paid for a reservation. We had major RV suspension issues on our travels and were forced to cut trip short and head home. As a courtesy, I attempted to contact the park to cancel well ahead if our reservation date. Tried to call and phone was answered by someone who mumbled and then hung up on me. Called back and same person answered and when i tried to let him know we needed to cancel, he said, not very nicely, “Im in the Philipines, call the park!” I sent an email, no response. It wasnt so much about expecting a refund, as trying to be considerate to anyone else who wanted a spot there. It may be a very pretty park, but weird management……. Never again!!!!

Campground Response

All lies. Never Again please. I looked back several months and I didn't see any reservations by Sarah. I think you are a troll - An internet troll is someone who deliberately posts provocative, inflammatory, or off-topic messages in online communities, such as forums, social media, or comment sections, with the intent of provoking emotional responses or disrupting conversations. Trolls often seek attention and enjoy causing frustration or anger in others. I apologize if I am wrong. Please provide a last name. Bob

Made reservations in February for a family reunion in July. Arrived in July with reminders and confirmation that we had reservations for two cabins but one had people in it that just made a reservation a few weeks prior. We traveled a distance with a family member that had some health conditions and to find that we only had one cabin with one bed for four people was not okay!!! We tried to contact the owner but no answer, he did return our call a lot later in the evening which did not set right with me. Paul the “grounds keeper” found us accommodations that we had to make due with because we already paid for the reservations but still not satisfied. Owner didn’t even offer a discount or partial refund for their screw up! We have stayed here the last few years but will be rethinking our plans for next year!!! Double booking is not okay! DO BETTER!!!!!!!

Campground Response

Renee I am sorry you had a bad experience but others in your party are very pleased. Paul knew he could use my RV to help accommodate your party, which he did. He used business funds to purchase a handicap toilet that was used. I apologize that your perception is that I was not responsive, but Paul assures me others in your party were both pleased and grateful. I hope you come back next year. Bob

Pretty setting at the base of the mountains. Close to the highway and grocery store. Very peaceful. Our spot was #1, easy to find. Not very crowded which was nice. Has a small pond, a paddle boat, geese, and a nice dog park. The bathrooms are not well kept up. Plenty of cleaning supplies around but I never saw anyone cleaning, repairing or restocking. The handicapped shower said it was out of order. One stall didn’t hook closed. No paper towels. I think most people must use their motorhome showers. The bathroom was locked when my husband walked over to shower about 9:45 both nights, So we used our own. Perfect for one night stops.

Campground Response

We are working on the laundry/bathroom problems. At times it is difficult to hire competent help in Rural America. Please come back soon. Bob

Park has gone down hill from last year. restroom and laundry are in disrepair and much less appealing than last year. Paul, the lawn mowing guy is the bright spot. He was very helpful and friendly. With time and maintenance it could be a great campground again.

Campground Response

I'm sorry. I am in the Philippines. Dealing with disaster. Truth is by far and away campers are pleased with the park. I'm sorry you don't see it that way. Bob Bob

5 star communication. Communication is not immediate but response is fast and effective. Bob really took care to be thorough in agreed understandings. All while he is neck high in other life circumstances unrelated to the campground. Facilities are dated but clean and maintained. There is a camp host who is quick to respond or help when/if needed. The grounds are well maintained, clean and picturesque. Personally, I loved the antique horse drawn wagon. We stayed a little over a week. Will keep this location noted for future stats. This is not a place with activities or planned events. This is nice quiet place to enjoy the views and hit the nearby towns and state parks. In the fall, the colors will be spectacular.

First off there was NO one there to check in with... Then at our site we go to plug in electric & the 30 amp breaker was MISSING!! The 'maintenance' guy was kind enough to stop cutting grass & come over to help. He couldn't do anything, but called for an electrician...which was non-existent on a weekend... There was barely anyone camping, some seasonal, but not on site. We heard rumors of shady activity. NOT a place I/we would go back to! Also, too much highway noise. Stay away from this place. I would NOT recommend this campground!

Campground Response

Thank you so much "Kathy." We never spoke as your partner was so rude. We would not recommend anyone let them stay one night and expect too much. Look at the other reviews. We run a clean beautiful park as most of the other reviews indicate. I offered a refund and you declined that offer. This couple stayed one night and just seemed to want to complain. I apologize if we didn't satisfy you. Ask for a refund. 1 star for them as customers. Other RoverPass campgrounds BEWARE. Bob

Easy to find, all grass campsite good location. No trains or road noise. Very long pull through, all amenities worked great. No OTA channels or cable. We had a nice quite site.

Campground Response

Thanks Joe. I don't watch TV much. The mountains do affect OTA, and I don't use cable. Perhaps I should reconsider cable. Of course thanks for 4 Stars. I agree with your rating. Come again soon. Bob
