Activities and Amenities

Travelers can look forward to plenty of outdoor fun like hiking, bird-watching, rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing and horseback riding. Plus, there's opportunities for picnicking, sunset viewing and stargazing. 25 miles of a creek runs through the park and there's 15 miles of trails for travelers to enjoy while viewing the natural terrain like volcanic rock gorges, scenic pools and breathtaking views of the Virgenes Valley and Malibu Canyon. Amenities at the park include: restrooms, water, showers, hiking and biking trails, guided tours, picnic areas, dump stations and RV access.

Just beyond the campground is a number of excellent west coast attractions like the Malibu Creek State Park, Frederick R. Wesiman Museum, Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, Corral Canyon Cave and Saddle Peak.
