The Lost Alaskan RV Park is located in the beautiful city of Alpine, and is an excellent place to enjoy an authentic Texas vacation. Campers can look forward to iconic attractions near the campground including the town's creative murals or just tour the downtown area which bustles with restaurants, art galleries, book stores, music stores and great local shops. For the nature enthusiast, the campground is within easy access of Hancock Hill which is known as one of the town's most scenic spots. Campers can hike the area, or just kick back at dusk for sunset viewing and stargazing. The Big Bend Museum is another camper favorite, and the Big Bend Theater is excellent for live shows and group gatherings. Finally, many head to this camping spot to enjoy Texas Cowboy Poetry and ranch events.

The camp site includes: tent camping, pull thrus, big rig access, a recreation room, playground, pet area, WiFi, water, sewerage, restrooms, tent camping, showers, electricity. You can also do activities such as Biking, scenic drives, stargazing, and wildlife viewing. Hope to see you soon!

A lovely, big rig friendly, park with long, level pull through sites. Right on Hwy 118 just north of Alpine Center. Stay six nights, get 7th night free, averaged out to $27 per night with Escapees discount. Good Sam Discount also available, very helpful, friendly staff. All the normal facilities available, laundry, bath house, pool and even a wash pad for your RV can be reserved at the office. We would stay here again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Alpine, TX - Lost Alaskan RV Park – 2401 N Highway 118, Alpine, TX 79830; 432-837-1136. This 100 site park is located a couple miles out of the center of town. The sites are long and gravel with plenty of space between sites. FHUs are at each site, and the owners have provided permanent picnic tables built with bricks and concrete. There is grass between each site and each site also has a tree. The grass and tree may not seem special but we are still in the desert and it is nice to have. Yes, there are some long term residents in some of the sites, but the park is clean and neat throughout. Short term guests all use pull through sites. Cable and WiFi are included in the daily rate, but the WiFi only is acceptable at our site part of the time. We were near the swimming pool but not too close to the office. The WiFi worked fine at the centrally located laundry and restrooms – there are 6 washers and 6 dryers ($1.50 wash; $1.25 dry). The laundry, the restrooms and showers are all clean. There is also a fairly large rec room for adult use. The pool must have recently closed for the season; even though it still has water in it and looks great, the area is locked. The pool area has a splash pad; playground and horseshoe areas are also nearby. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash; there is a pet park area and guests are expected to clean up after their pets. The park is a great location for visiting the Alpine, Marfa and Fort Davis areas of West Texas. It is farther to Big Bend National Park – 80 miles to the edge of the park but farther to the headquarters etc. The park offers AAA, AARP, Good Sam and Escapees discounts. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
