I rented a cabin for myself. At the last possible minute, my daughter and her fiance decide to join me. There was no problem with the addition. It was Memorial Day Weekend and it rained (a lot) and was COLD. Really cold. There was a live band, silent auction and when the weather broke, fishing! Canoeing, kayaking! The owners are VERY accommodating and friendly. They are happy to help. The folks in the campground are phenomenal! This is a combination of seasonal sites and rental sites. The bathhouse was kept VERY clean, and was in excellent condition with PLENTY of steamy hot water, and even a side sink where you could do camp dishes, should you need to. The cabins have electric, but no running water or bath/kitchen facilities. You can cook. A BBQ and picnic table is provided outside. A cute porch with chairs on each cabin. Inside is a full bed, a bunk bed, and an oak table with bench seating. As it was so cold, my entire family gathered here (my brother brought a heater). We had 9 adults for dinner comfortably, but for sleeping, four would be comfy. There were shelves to store food and supplies on. There was also an AC window unit, but we had no use for it as temps were in the low 30's. Brrrrr. There were fire rings and fire wood for sale. They also have a small camp store. We had a wonderful time and we WILL be back. Thank you for some awesome memories 😁

Tim and Liz are friendly and accommodating. They traveled around more than once daily to check if we needed anything. The camping grounds from the cabin area and pavilion all the way down to the riverside sites were well maintained and attractive. We picked a lower level, interior site (but still had river view just across the road) for best DirecTV satellite dish reception. It appears the seasonals with full hookups to us "dry campers" (by choice) enjoyed their weekend - serenaded by Friday night DJ and Saturday night band. Prices are unbeatable, even without the free entertainment. We will definitely go back next year.

Campground Response

We were not closed. You cancelled your reservation on August 24th 2020. We did have an issue as to if the band we had coming that weekend that you had booked for would be able, and things worked out. We had gotten the okay 2 weeks later. We could not advertise the info on our web site or facebook. Do to Cuomo's order (bars, restaurants entertainment)

This was my first time here and it was lovely! Came with my best friends for one of their birthdays and we all had a great time. We will definitely be coming again! Everyone was so sweet and welcoming.

It is a wonderful place to camp weather you want a cabin or have an RV to park. I found it to be very peaceful and a great place if you just want some "me" time.
