We are always happy to stay at Little Patch of Heaven when we come to Bardstown. We appreciate the flexibility with adding an extra day or switching the arrival date. We will be back!

Very nice campground. Restrooms were clean. Grounds were well kept. No fire pits or tables. The hookups were a little funky, but all good. All in all we definitely would come back. Very pretty and quiet.

I wouldn’t call it a camp ground more like just a gravel lot with hook up to park ur camper. We were 1 camper of 7 in the whole place had a few people in travel stop by trying to get ahold of people for info on staying but had a hard time getting ahold of them as no one is there at office ever. Had a lot of silly rules but don’t know how they are unforced cause nobody is ever her

Could use a picnic table. There was no one around to get your fire pit approved.

So much potential for a beautiful campground. No one at office to check in with. Received email 2-3 hrs after we arrived & set up with all access codes. Already had site number when reservation made. Saw only long term campers. Stayed 3 nights in travel trailer.

Campground Response

sorry about that, I gave you all the codes, I don't understand what the problem is. I was there, I just don't bother people.

The park managers were great. The park is on a nice lake but close to two busy highways so it is a little noisy. All together though we enjoyed our stay.

Campground Response

thank you.

Although we had the place pretty much to ourselves only a few rv's we're on site due to off season and freezing weather. Which was fine for us as we were there just to sleep, while we were working in the area. I can see this place being very packed in the warmer seasons tho. Very small, tight sites, the place overall was clean but lacked a lot of things. Like a fire pit on the sites (no fires are allowed at your our site, but a community one is available) no playground or anything for kids to do. There is a pond but that's it. It looks like a old trailer park converted. This is more of a place for retirees that want to be mins from town and don't care much for outdoors activities. As there is none. No trees or nature besides the pond. I didn't even see any hiking trails or anything that would make me want to stay here with a family. The price reflected these down falls. I would like to say we met the owner and she was extremely nice. Kinda feel bad leaving a review such as this but I have to be honest, it's a place to park while your heading to your real camp grounds. Another thing I wasn't too impressed with was the fact they checked us out early. Yes we left but we didn't say we were checking out, we still had two days left on our site. Maybe we were going to come back how would they have known.

The lake and the geese were nice. It’s close to the city and a great place to overnight if you’re traveling or sightseeing. Pads were short and close like any private park.

A smaller campground that is great for an overnight stay. We were going to the Bernheim Forest, so this was a close by place to stay. The sites were pretty level, but were not fully paved. We had concrete strips where the tires went. There aren't many signs in the campground showing one-way, so pay attention to the orientation of the campsites! This location has good WiFi and dump facilities. There is a small lake at this campground that people fish on.

Campground Response

thank you

Nice quiet little campground close to the downtown area, restaurants, and shopping. We were in site #3 which has the electric and water on the wrong side (passenger side when backed in). Our electric cord reached because it is in the very back of our unit, but we needed a 50’ water hose to connect to the water spigot. WiFi was great and we were able to get satellite television from our site. Would definitely stay here again! Only reason for not giving this place 5 stars was the layout of the utilities on our site.

Campground Response

thank you

Pretty place but not well run. I think the big shocker is that when we left at 8:30 am the dump was locked and there was never anyone in the office - ever

Campground Response

I am so sorry about the dump being lock .and yes i don't sit in the office but I was in my RV Like I tell everyone come knock at my Door any time. if you need me .

Small, quiet, and conveniently located. Not really much for amenities. Not a place I would camp with kids but for an adult trip and base to visit the area it is perfect. Bathrooms clean sites clean. No fire pits on camp sites. Just one large central pit. Full hookups though for a pretty decent price.

Campground Response

thank you
