Quaint, peaceful and just off the beaten path enough to get a taste of nature. We stopped in our RV just before dark on the way to Sikeston and it was a perfect overnight spot. The sites are back-in, full hookup and level with light gravel and grass.
The entire campground is well mowed and maintained, including the grass path all the way around the pond. There is a single bathhouse with a stall shower combo that is extremely clean with thoughtful touches. You can’t beat $15 for a single night. There is a host on site to pay and to help with questions.
I couldn’t find many pictures when I was researching so I took lots while we were there. Use these coordinates (LAT / LONG: 37.3777821484, -89.7941817147) instead of the address in GPS or call the owners. They answered right away both times I called and were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back when we're in the area.

My family had a very lovely time here. The staff was super nice, courteous, and welcomed us like family. There were plenty of spacious sites to choose from that would fit any size rig. There was a great array of amenities that took care of all of our needs. We really enjoyed the activities they had to offer as it was not only fun but very relaxing. The location was serene as there were so many beautiful views from all over the park. Also everything was nicely maintained that helped us relax as we like clean parks. This is a campground for people who like a quiet place to set and watch wild life, there is a nest of eagles near by and campers enjoy watching them come and go. the wooded area offers shelters for all kinds of wild life and campers enjoy each evening watching the deer and wild turkeys come out to eat. The lake offers good fishing and also has a walking trail around the lake for those who like an easy nature walk. Just good clean fun, no loud drinking crowds.
