I do not recommend. We didn’t feel safe and wasn’t clean.

We stayed here for the first time over Labor Day weekend. There were several good things and a few suggestions that we would leave. People were very friendly all throughout the campground. There are apartments on site with families who live there, so some of the kids were definitely comfortable there, but also respectful. We had no issues with our campsite - everything worked as it should! The one bathhouse (flush toilets/sink/showers) was large, with nice-sized showers and had hot water with good pressure. It was hit-or-miss about whether everything was clean throughout the weekend and if there was soap/paper towels in there. We just learned to take our own with us. There are also porta-potties scattered around the grounds, but I did not use any of them to comment on their condition. The quiet hours rule was not enforced. The first night I was kept up by the people across from us talking loudly until 1am. The site across from us came in the day after us and had their music playing from 8am - 2am almost the entire time they were there. It could be heard from most everywhere we went on the grounds. At one point the woman even brought it with her into the bathroom. I get it that you like your music, but not everyone shares your taste, so please don't make everyone listen. Especially until 2am. The swimming beach was nice and enjoyed by our whole family. They also enjoyed fishing - my son caught a nice sized bass! A few FYI's that would have been nice to know: 1. They do enforce the visitor fee (most places we've been to don't), so if you are having guests come - be ready to pay for them, no matter how long (or short) they are staying. 2. Cash is preferred at the office - they do take cards but charge a fee, so be sure that you bring cash to pay for firewood and anything else you may need to purchase. 3. There are campground dogs that roam the grounds. They are friendly but free to roam (and therefore there are some things to watch for as you're walking!) Overall, it was a good experience, just some quirks that are nice to know before staying somewhere new. Hope this helps someone else!
