Explore the natural beauty of the Tennessee Valley in a pastoral farm setting surrounded by the beauty & grace of llamas. The Lazy Llama Campground is a unique new family owned and operated campground in Northeast Tennessee. The campground is part of a 22-acre llama farm which is home to over 40 llamas and various other livestock including miniature donkeys and friendly emus. It features 31 campsites nestled among several large 40+ year-old maple trees. Most of the sites are big-rig friendly including six 35' x 75'-100' pull-through accessible. The park provides free excellent WiFi (150 mbps), sewer, water, and 50/30/20 amp electrical service at all sites. We are pet-friendly of course with large green space to walk your dogs.
Unique Activities
The park includes llama trails through the woods and pastures for walking among the animals on the farm, Storytelling Llama Hikes, and llama activities. The park is considered "artsy" with spinning, weaving, drawing, painting, stained glass classes offered each weekend by the resident artist and co-owner, Ms. Carolyn.

Children are welcomed to the campground! Parents/grandparents are responsible for the conduct of their children at all times. Children age 10 and under must be supervised by adults at all times, and children under 16 are not allowed on the llama trails unless accompanied by an adult. Jerry is a retired high school principal and will not hesitate to use his respectful but loud "principal" voice if needed. :-)
Some visitors enjoy sharing the joys of camping with their pets. We welcome good mannered pets. Good behavior is required. Pets of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the park. Bring the leash. Pets must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners' vehicles. Do not leave a pet unattended. Pet enclosures are allowed as long as owners are near their pets. Please be courteous to other RVerʼs. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too noisy, you will need to find other accommodations with no refunds. Please pick up after your pet. Scoop the poop. We have plastic bags and disposal receptacles for your convenience. We have a large area for you to walk your pets. For the safety of your pets and our llamas, No pets are allowed inside the llama pastures and llama trails.
