We had a great stay at Lazy Day. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The sites are level and not too close to each other. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Amazingly, despite the proximity of the campground to 70, the night was dark and quiet.

By far our favorite campground in Missouri! The staff is so friendly. The property is beautifully decorated and maintained. The sites are spacious and freshly graveled. The buddy site option was a pleasant surprise!!! And to top it off, we loved the quirky signs and rules in the brochure! We can't wait to come back again!

This is a very well kept campground. We only stayed for an overnight, but I would stay at this campground for multiple days due to the amenities and proximity to many points of interest.

Great layout for a one night stay. I am sure a longer stay would be just as pleasant. Nice pull thru spots, the trees add a welcoming touch.

If you’ve never been to Lazy Day Campground, Danville/Montgomery City, MO (@2 1/2 hours NW of St. Louis), we Highly recommend a visit. Great pull-through sites that can easily accommodate 45’ + stacker; exceptionally reasonable rates (that were not jacked up Post-Covid-19); a beautiful pool, excellent fire pits and pure burning wood available. Incredible gardens, flowers, two stocked lakes - for kids/grandkids’ to fish. Very few bugs (especially considering the nearly 2’ of rain this past month…@twice normal rainfall). Friendly, pleasant, humorous and welcoming owners - with great people stopping by daily! Convenient to I-70, yet quiet/peaceful and tucked amongst magnificent shade trees (kept cleanly trimmed away from all campers/campsites). A quaint little store, two great clubhouses for cooking your meals and family/friend gatherings & honoring our Hero Veterans of the past. Pet friendly with a large park for your fur children. Close to Hermann, MO and it’s Lovely and delicious wineries. Do yourself and family a favor and get away to a piece of Paradise. You’ll be glad you did!

This campground was a delight from start to finish! Personal guide to the site next to the lovely pool and adequate dog park, with loads of different decorations everywhere. Great bathrooms, laundry room and lounge. They cook pizzas on site, which are delicious, and on Sat and Sun mornings all the pancakes you can eat. I would stay here any night of the week, month, year . . . .

Dan and Nancy were the best! They go above and beyond to help the visitors to their campground. The place is clean, and the campers are not SQUEEZED in like you find in most places. If we ever come through this way again, we'll be sure to stay. (Clarksville, TN)

This is by far the best campground we have ever stayed at! We stayed 2 times, once on our way out west and then again on our return trip. Owners are so super friendly. Sites are amazing. Pool is great and the bathrooms are the most beautiful and well kept ones we have seen! We will definitely be back!!
