This is a Hamilton County, Ohio, run park, not a state or national park. It has fallen into terrible disrepair in my opinion and I don't recommend it. The boat dock is now closed, the camp sites have little gravel on the parking spots only and the rest of your site is overgrown grass and mud. You can only rent the spots for a week or more at a time and you must mow your own grass/mud site. We rented for a month to use on weekends and our picnic table and fire ring was taken by other seasonal campers. We had to carry a rotted table from 6 sites down just to eat a meal outside. One side of the park has adequate electricity and the other side (weekly rental) does not. Despite asking 3 times from the booking employees about adequate electricity, we were still given a site that could not handle normal electrical usage during a holiday weekend so we had to leave. You will never get a front row spot in order to enjoy looking at the Ohio river. You will, however, get a wonderful mud filled pull through site that has such little electricity that you cannot run your air conditioner and refrigerator at the same time, all the while you can enjoy the view of the back side of a 5th wheel. There is a public gazebo, but it on the property of a very large seasonal 5th Wheel so it really isn't for the public's use unless they aren't home. We never saw a park ranger but we did see many random cars parked on the side of the road entering the campground with drivers talking on cellphones and they were not campers. Hamilton County massively cut park budgets last year and IT SHOWS! I'd never go back. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
