Lampe Marina Campground

The campground is nice medium size with fairly good size paved sites. Only electric and water but has 3 dump stations. The bathhouse is clean and has laundry. The laundry is $2.00 for each wash and $2.00 for each dry (a little pricey in my opinion). There are no other amenities; however, it is right on Lake Erie and there is a marina/boat ramp next door. Plenty to see and do in the area. I have no complaints about the campground itself, but I do have a complaint on how it is managed. We called knowing we would be coming in around 7 pm. No one answered the phone, but the voice mail said to follow the directions on the office door. We arrived and the only thing on the door was a phone number to call. No one answered and the voicemail was full. I walked down to the marina and a guy working for the port authority came up and got us checked in with a lot of confusion and guessing on where to put us and our fellow traveler. The next morning (we are only staying 2 nights), our fellow travelers were told they had to move two sites over since they were put in the wrong site ... they moved. Later on in the day, we were told that we had to move as well (2 sites over) since we were put in the wrong site.
