Lake Chalet Campground is located near Bridgewater, New York. It features 17 water and electric hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Ten of them accommodate pull through RVs. The park provides free WiFi, is pet-friendly, and has a dump station. Campsite amenities offered include a camp store with ice cream, a game room, a 6-acre private lake, rentals, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as badminton, basketball, swimming, paddle boating, video games, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing.

The campground is near attractions like:

This cabin sleeps 4 people comfortably (full bed and twin bunk beds). If you would like to bring additional people and an extra tent to accommodate them right outside of the cabin, you are welcome to do so up to a maximum total of 6 guests (2 extra guests).

Rules

Quiet Time

Quiet hours are Sunday- Thursday: 10pm- 8am and Friday and Saturday: 11pm- 8am.

Park Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 5.5 mph.

Tax

Tax is included in RV Sites, Tent Sites, and Cabins. Motel Rooms have additional tax (you will see this calculated into the total at checkout). The sum includes 8.75% sales tax and 5% occupancy tax.

Pet Policy

We are pet friendly! You must keep them on a leash and cleaned up after. You will also be asked to show proof of rabies vaccinations. Thank you!

fun, clean, and neighborly! It was "Halloween" weekend with costumes, pumpkin carving, pot luck and a great dance band on Saturday night. We will be back.

I'm a tent camper and was so happy to find Lake Chalet Campground on a recent trip to the Brouckville-Madison Antique Market. The grounds are lovely and well maintained with each tent site having a table and fire pit. The tent sites are grouped in fields which is good if you're with some friends and want sites together, but if you're looking for privacy there are only a few places to tuck away. I loved being near the "crick" but be warned that it does flood when the rains are heavy, causing the grounds to be wet and muddy. That being said, the campground itself has lots to offer including a playground, lake for catch and release fishing, some small canoes and a paddle boat. There are washers and driers, a large covered pavilion (perfect for parties or even for shelter during the rains), a dish washing station, and hot showers. I would give this campsite 5-stars for the extra friendly staff who helped me when my car got stuck in the mud and for the general beauty of the campground. I'm knocking off a star for a few reasons. 1) the bathrooms weren't cleaned once when I was there for 4 days. 2) there are no staff there in the morning so even buying a bag of ice before leaving for the day wasn't possible. 3) the campground is directly on Rte 8 which gets lots of truck traffic. Even far away from the road you can hear the trucks as they pass by. So even though this isn't any fault of the campground, it does take away from the feeling of being in a little pocket of nature.

As always it’s amazing and very nice there. My family loved it. The owners are friendly and always make their rounds to everyone to check on them and make sure that if they need anything they get it for them even if it’s something as simple as fire wood and yes they even drive the fire wood to your site. The hours of the store are amazing also. We can’t wait to come back up to camp. We have gone camping here every year sense my kids were ages 4 and 5 years old. My kids also enjoy coming here every year.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious swimming area., and tidy, open campsites. The fishing is great, which I appreciate because we brought 4 kids who never catch anything! It's very fun for them. They fished for an hour or two total and caught almost 10 fish between them all! The creek running through the back of the property was also very fun for the kids. We will definitely return.

Lake Chalet is my favorite place to go! The grounds are beautifully maintained. So peaceful and relaxing. We have fun fishing. You can swim at the beach area. We enjoy taking walks around the lake. The owners are super nice! I highly recommend!

Passing through the area, we received warm and accommodating assistance from booking, arrival, and checking out. The grounds are spectacular, and all the staff could not have been more helpful. The cabin itself was perfect as well, simple and just what you need. The fire pit before bed was perfect. Highly recommended!

I am never dissapointed in a trip to Lake Chalet. It is a very small and welcoming campground. The price is very reasonable. The beach has nice sand and the kids love it. There is a small playground. We walk the dog down by a creek and around the pond. I have been coming for 35 years and will continue to come every year. This trip started with the owners remembering my family from our last trip two years ago (COVID). She remembered my husband's profession and my son who was an infant last visit. Saturday we went to the beach, checked out the huge slip and slide, and ended the night with a spectacular fireworks show over the water. Sunday was a fishing derby for the kids. This is the place both my older children caught their first fish years ago. It was a wonderful time!
