Large Rigs welcome! 20 total RV sites, can accommodate any size RV, 15/30/50 amp, dump station, full hookups, pull thrus, Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, handicap accessible, FREE washer and dryer, BBQ, enclosed dog park, walking trails, RV storage, security, hiking, nature watching, playground.
This is a beautiful campground that is conveniently located just off Interstate 65. It’s situated about halfway in between two of the south’s most popular tourist destinations – which are the Alabama beaches to the south and the Tennessee Mountain’s to the north! There are all the sites you could need for any size rig, or traveling size, with all the amenities everyone could need. There are a lot of fun activities inside the park as well as in the surrounding area, just 30 minutes away there is Point Mallard - which offers visitors a chance to visit an ice skating rink, a water park, and a hot air balloon festival. If you are looking for a nice stop and go park, a family and pet friendly park, then this is the place for you as it has everything you could need for a great price!

They gave our site away and we were there early. They blamed Roverpass. But we had spoken to the owner a week prior. Poor communication with the campground personnel basically.

Convenient location. Did the job for the night. Pleasant and helpful help. Little rougher surroundings than I would have liked, with lots of long termers gumming up the area which made it a little challenging getting in and out. All in all, definitely an ok place to stop in the dark and leave in the morning.

Great place to stay. The owner and the park manager are really nice and try to make your stay as smooth as possible. Great rates and even provides a laundry area with washer and dryer provided. The manager will do her best to make your stay great!!!

Pros: Staff (Annie?) was friendly, quick to respond to calls, and tried as best as possible to be accomodating. Park was easy to find, not too far off the highway, and site was pull through with electric and water as advertised. Cons: What a mess. Granted, there had been some rain that day. But the waste drain on the site was full, and based on the smell I would say overflowed. The whole park wreaked of sewage. There were quite obviously many more full time residents than those just passing through, and the residents are slobs. We arrived later than expected due to traffic, otherwise would have moved on to find somewhere else to stay. Frankly a bit frightening, and we got up and out of there as early as possible.

Our stay has been great. Annie, the park manager is super helpful and friendly. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is one of the dryers in the laundry room has been broken for our entire months stay.

Perfect spot except no one had the code to the bathroom. When I finally got in it was out of service. Otherwise 5 stars!!!

The place was more like a white trash trailer park than an RV Park. Small, very cramped, no wifi code, hard to get our big rig in and out. Will sleep in the truck before going back to this dump!

Campground Response

Daniel, First off thanks for your review. We would like to congratulate you as the very first 1 star rating we have ever received. Now I would have liked to speak with you in person before you decided to leave but people like to vent something to others that cannot do anything about your issues. Let me address your issues in order: 1) We have only campers in our park. 2) We have several improvements happening at our park such as new spaces, new laundry room, new and renovated bathrooms, new dog park, new lighting around the park and more. 3) Our WiFi is the fastest that can be purchased through the local company. We also just recently installed another WiFi antenna to boast single. If you would have spoke with us you would have been given the WiFi Password. Anytime you have free internet without passwords you could be hacked very easy. We value our customers and try to protect their safety in any and every way possible. 4). For moving around the park our roads are one way and wider than any two lane road getting to the park. 5) Our park is continuously operating at or almost full conditions everyday. I’m sure there’s someone that would love to take your site in the future. Hopefully this addresses all of the issues you had. Please in the future actually speak with the campground owner/worker(s) before just venting. We hope you have safe travels to wherever you’re going.

We only stayed there one night, the campground was full but the owners accommodated us, very close to 65. Will use this site again next winter on our way south.

My family had a very lovely time here. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and affable. The sites were rather spacious and we got all the amenities we could ask for. There was a few activities to do that was not only fun but was really relaxing. We spent many hours on the hiking trails just to see all the different views! The location was really nice as it was easy to find and there were many places only a short drive away to eat or shop. Everything was nicely maintained that really stood out to us as it helped make sure we had a great time. Overall it was really nice. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Off of I-65 at exit 328. 20 Rv sites with 30/50 amps, water, sewer. Big rig friendly, pull through sites. Dog walk, free laundry, bath house clean with shower. Very nice, clean little park. Sites are gravel and level. 22.00 per night, honors Passport America at 11.00 per night. Great stop over park! Will definitely return. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
