General Policies

1. Camping Check in time - 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m or if a site is available - NO LATE ARRIVALS Check out time - 11:00 a.m. MDT Don't want to pull your camper on vacation, but don't want to sleep on the ground in your tent? We have pop-up tent campers available for your camping comfort. Each unit can sleep up to six people in one queen and two full size beds. Step out of the camper each morning under your own permanent canopy with picnic table and elevated grill. We let you pick the site you like. We have sites under the trees, or more in the open, or close to the pool, or close to the shower house, or away from the pool, or away from the shower house, or back in the canyon, or close to the action, etc. Camping Cancellation After your reservation is made, there will be a $10 per night charge for any cancellations made up to 14 days before noon the day of check-in. In other words, if you are scheduled to arrive July 9 for a three night stay, you may cancel your reservation anytime before noon July 2, and a $30 cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card. If you cancel within 14 days of your check-in date, your credit card will be charged for the first two nights of your stay and $10 per each additional night of your reservation. Check In Camping / Cabins 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m or if a site is available NO LATE ARRIVALS Check Out (Camping) 11:00 a.m. MDT Early Departures All camping and cabin charges are paid at check-in. If you leave early, we do not issue refunds, so please plan accordingly and see our cancellation policies. Late Arrival Our office closes at 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Dusk comes earlier in the mountains and can be anywhere from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. depending on the summer month. We strongly encourage you to schedule your travel day so you arrive in plenty of time to get settled in before it gets dark. Your children will also be disappointed if they can not enjoy the pool before it closes at dusk. We strongly discourage late arrivals because it is disrupting to our other guests and it can be difficult finding your way around in the mountains in the dark. If you must arrive late, please contact the office as soon as possible or make arrangements at the time of making your reservation.

If you want your vacation been ruined, then you can stay in this “nice” RV park. The girl, unfortunately she is the owner’s daughter working in their office is customer service, she was very rude and aggressive, she was screaming at us, type of behavior that isn’t appropriate for be in this business. They told us to leave, because my husband simply told her, that this RV park has some safety issues, which they should mention to other visitors before they come to stay. ( the road to narrow and very high elevation). The owner and his daughter come to our site and unplug us from electricity, also they did turn the water off too and it was happening 2 hours before the check out time. They was screaming in our faces and told us that we have to leave in 5 minutes, even though we paid for 2 days camping, we end up to leave early. Unhappy owners can make your vacation miserable.

Man taking care of us was not very nice, acted like you were bothering him. Site we got was on a hillside and you had to back into it. Great location, nice amenities.

06/12/2020 - 06/16/2020. My wife and I stayed at cabin 11 for 4 nights. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the Black Hills Region of South Dakota. Mount Rushmore and The Crazyhorse Memorial were only minutes away. The train station to ride the 1880 steam powered train round trip to Hill City and back was just down at the end of the road. We enjoyed our stay there and look forward to returning for future vacations.
