Idyll Glen RV Park is located in the Texas Hill Country yet just 15 miles from Austin’s Lakeline Mall and only 11 miles from Cedar Park, Texas. It features paved, full hookup campsites that are all big rig friendly and have patios. The park offers free WiFi and allows pets.

A lovely place near the peninsula . Quiet. Wooded. Electric and water. Dump station. Honey wagon. Small laundry facility. Friendly owners. Older campground that they are updating and improving since they purchased it a few years back. Lobster. Bike rides. Walks. Nice area. Limited sites for a large rig. We came in last year with a 33' Fifth Wheel and, because of the narrow road with trees, getting in and out can be challenging. They do have a couple of pull throughs and some sites that you can get into. That said, it's a lovely place in Maine and gives you the sense of what Maine is about without the heavy tourist traffic. Make sure to eat at Shaw's Peir and you can get a Hardy Boat ride out to Monhegan Island, one of the prettiest places on the Maine coast. Dogs are welcome everywhere even eating at the dockside restaurants. Rachel Carson salt pond is another neat place to explore the creatures that come in with the tide. Damariscotta is a small town with a lovely book store - again dogs welcome in the book store - a few restaurants and some easy in and out shopping in a few local shops. Also take a boat ride along the Damariscotta River, or a walk out to Dodge Point on the river. Just lovely.
