Hospital Flat Campground
Overview
The Hospital Flat Campground is located in the Coronado National Forest and is a great spot for an authentic southwestern getaway. Onsite, there's also a diverse and breathtaking terrain, perfect for exploring and scenic viewing. Travelers can also look forward to local landmarks like the Chiricahua National Monument, Saguaro National Park and the Tumacacori National Historic Park. Among these parks and the Grand Canyon, campers can enjoy some of the southwest's most iconic scenes and geological formations, as well as the excellent river rafting, climbing, hiking and mountain biking that accompanies these sites. There's also historical treasures nearby including the Cases Grande Ruins National Monument Fort Bowie National Historic Site and the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. For even more Arizona fun, the Kartchner Caverns and San Pedro National Riparian Conservatory Area are also relatively close by.

What a dump , I usual don’t rate places I stay but and I have been to many . This place by far was the worst camp ground I have ever stayed at . The people we on top of each other there was no control on parking had five trucks parked next to us , the bathrooms were terrible no t/p for three days the urinal had a box in front of it so you could not use it and yes I tried to move the box it was that big and heavy, It must be a work camp in a very old place the campers there were falling apart the staff had no clue on what was going on it was just out of control. I will never stay or recommend this place to anyone Ever . I could go on but what the point It think the owners are just running it to the ground.shouldn’t even be rated a one star .

Filled with drug addicks! We use to be seasonal campers but after 2 years it went down hill. I personally witnessed drug deals in broad daylight and a drunken man onto of his RV. The pool is disgusting. The back of the campground is basically a junkyard with falling apart trailers and im told people actually live in them. Stay away from this place specially if ur a minority its filled with people with very ignorant and racist views. And alot of positive posts on here are fake

The reviews here are wrong. Our 1st night, we were awakened by police cars doing a drug bust in the campground. The seasonal people said it happens frequently, don't go near the back of the park they said. The fireworks scared our dog and it was only our 2nd day here and our last. We checked out and went to another campground and had a wonderful end to our vacation.
