The Homolovi State Park is located in the beautiful town of Winslow and is a great spot for a fun and easy-going Arizona vacation. Onsite, travelers can look forward to the Homolovi Visitor Center which displays archaeological artifacts from the people of Homolovi including art, pottery and tools. There's also nearby picnic areas, equestrian trails, and great spots for wildlife viewing; campers can look out for horned larks, road runners, ravens, burrowing owls and Golden Eagles. Aside from the expansive desert vista for hiking and ATV riding, campers can also look forward to the Wolf Den Gallery, Old Trails Museum, Santa Fe Station Golf Course, Jack's Canyon Bridge and the Winslow Residential Historic District. Other parks are especially popular, and many travelers head to the McHood Park and the Winslow City Park for hiking, biking and sunset viewing. And of course, the town is known for a number of attractions like the 911 Remembrance Garden, Meteor City Trading Post and the Standin' On The Corner Park. There's something for every type of traveler to enjoy.
Amenities at the park include: water, RV hookups, 30 amp sites, pull thrus, big rig access and tent pads. Hope to see you soon!

The road to the KOA can be difficult to see if coming from the main drag as there is a line of trees in front of it, but the KOA has a large sign next to the road that helps. The park is very shaded with lots of trees, which is nice for staying cool but might interfere in some spots with satellite dishes. The spaces seem roomy, our 41' motorhome fit nicely into its assigned slot and there was space to park our car. Our space was graveled, and we had no trouble leveling after we parked. There was a picnic table at each site that I saw. The park is very close to the main street in Branson for shows. We were going to see Ray Stevens at the Andy Williams Moon River Theater and it only took 10 minutes to get there and get parked from the KOA. The park has many amenities including a swimming pool, hot tub, playground, dog walk, laundry facilities (clean and had chairs for waiting), fitness room, showers (clean), Wi-Fi, cable, a small store, and a Convention Center building where they serve breakfast each morning from 8 - 10 AM (May-October, pancakes are free, other items are priced depending on the item). The store also offers discounted tickets to many of the shows, and has a Hunts Brothers Pizza inside. The Park also offers Pontoon Boat rental and Golf Cart rental. If you don't have an RV or tent, they also offer cabins to rent. They have different levels of RV sites, with different amounts of space, including space for big rigs, pull through and back-ins, 20/30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, some sites have just electric and water. They have a dump station and a propane fill site. We found it to be a very comfortable place to stay, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
