Rules

Pet Policy

Pets must be leashed at all times. Noisy pets will not be permitted. Please pick up after your pets and walk them only in designated areas. Pets are not to be left unattended inside or outside. When a pet owner is observed violating the above rules, a warning will be issued. If observed a second time, a fine of $25 will be imposed, or at the option of resort management, the pet owner may be required to leave the resort.

Vehicle Policy

Operators of all motorized vehicles must be of driver’s license age. Please observe the posted 10 mph speed limit at all times.

General Policies

1. PARKING Parking is limited to one unit per lot. Please park on your lot only. Motor homes, boats, boat trailers and utility trailers must be parked in the storage compound. (You will be allowed a few days to pack/unpack or repair your unit.) 2. EMPTY LOTS Please do not park or drive on empty lots. 3. VEHICLES Operators of all motorized vehicles must be of driver’s license age. Please observe the posted 10 mph speed limit at all times. 4. VISITORS All overnight visitors must be pre-registered with the office by the registered guest/resident. All fees associated with the visitor will be charged to the registered guest. Each overnight visitor will be charged $6/night. POS residents are allowed visitors for up to 2 weeks at no charge. 5. TRASH Only household garbage (in bags) is to be deposited in the dumpsters. Please deposit newspapers and aluminum cans in the proper recycle bins. Please check your map for dumpster and recycling locations. All leaves and grass clippings must be bagged, and will be picked up on a daily basis. 6. PETS Pets must be leashed at all times. Noisy pets will not be permitted. MAIL Post office boxes are available for residents and registered guests only. The box number will be the same as your lot number. Renters will be required to get a box at the Okahumpka or Leesburg Post Office. Holiday Travel Resort’s post office is located in the Ken Jones Center. Be sure to include your lot number and section as part of your address. 8. MESSAGES Messages will be posted on the message board in the main office. Only emergency messages will be delivered to your site. Please remember to check the board daily. 9. ACTIVITIES All facilities and organized activities are open to residents and registered guests. Please observe the posted rules and regulations for each activity. Some sporting equipment is also available for use at no charge. GOLF COURSE Practicing on the golf course is allowed when the course is not in use, but please do not hit balls off the greens. You are welcome to use the tee mats and there is an extra mat located near the back gate. Please observe the local rules printed on the scorecard at the first tee, located behind the Leisure Center. 11. STORAGE FACILITY Available for residents and registered guests only. The following may be stored: motor homes, travel trailers, utility trailers, boats and boat trailers. Please visit or call the main office at 352.787.5151 for more details. 12. DESIGNATED SALES AREA Only RVs and motor homes are allowed. 13. CLOTHES LINES Clothes lines are not permitted. An umbrella type clothes pole is permitted with approval. 14. FOR SALE SIGNS For Sale signs are not allowed in or around your unit. 15. PERMANENT ON SITE (POS) All units tied down must be skirted. Any changes or additions to your unit must be pre-approved and permitted by maintenance. Please notify maintenance before digging to avoid underground utilities. 16. INSURANCE Insurance is strongly recommended and should cover your park model, contents and golf cart.

Stayed here last.year with friends traffic at park no rules followed this year is worse cars pickup and golf carts speeding and contractors speeding Look at a March news letter and the management talked about speed but nothing will be done unless it’s enforced can’t even walk at night with wife afraid we will get run over sure has gone down hill and no WiFi or water pressure Won’t recommend

We stayed here Thanksgiving and into the weekend. The Thanksgiving potluck was wonderful a good turnout with lots of food & deserts, everything was delicious. There is so much to do here, if you get board It’s your own fault. We swam in both of the heated pools (one is indoors), played miniature golf, horseshoes and had ice cream at the restaurant..We watched people play bocce, shuffle board & pickleball.. The bathrooms are 5 star. I didn’t use the laundry rooms but they are just as clean. There is a Marina on site, a boat ramp & boat slips. The canal leads into Lake Harris and surrounding lakes. We went to Rennigers flea market , that is only a half hour away & had lunch in Mount Dora. There is a mix of Mobile homes ( mostly snow birds) in with the RV sites. Everyone is so friendly & helpfully including all the staff. We will definitely be back.

If you are traveling for the holidays this should be the camping park for you! They really do know how to make sure you have a great holiday stay! Either it be you passing through or staying for a bit. I was thrilled to see so many employees care for their customers and be so friendly. The park itself had a lot to offer and was constantly cleaned. I loved how everything was close by so if we want to shop or go eat really quickly we didn’t have to drive far. The wifi worked like a charm and so did the laundry mat. Overall I was really impressed and will be staying here again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
