, Coronado, AZ,

Within the rugged beauty of the Cochise Stronghold and at an elevation of over 5,000 feet is the Half Moon Ranch. For many campers, birding is the activity of choice since this park is home to a number of species including wood warbles, birds of paradise and hummingbird. Onsite, there's also a diverse and breathtaking terrain, perfect for exploring and scenic viewing. Travelers can also look forward to local landmarks like the Chiricahua National Monument, Saguaro National Park and the Tumacacori National Historic Park. Among these parks and the Grand Canyon, campers can enjoy some of the southwest's most iconic scenes and geological formations, as well as the excellent river rafting, climbing, hiking and mountain biking that accompanies these sites. There's also historical treasures nearby including the Cases Grande Ruins National Monument Fort Bowie National Historic Site and the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. For even more Arizona fun, the Kartchner Caverns and San Pedro National Riparian Conservatory Area are also relatively close by.

The ranch is a seven-room house great for groups of up to 10 people, and it is fully outfitted with a kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Hope to see you at the Half Moon Ranch for your next Arizona getaway!
