Spent three nights there April 13,14,15. The camp was exceptionally clean, bathrooms were very nice and also clean. Their handicapped bathroom was also very nice. Their club house is clean, as is their game room. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Nice flat walking paths that are paved. Lots of wild life around to add to the beauty (Eagles, Blue Heron, cotton trail rabbits, and others). You can dig delicious steamer clams RIGHT on their beach not 20 yards from your camper if you're in OR near the front parking rows. Very pretty view of a distant harbor. There were only two drawbacks to Fidalgo for us. One view is of a harbor - serene, full of sailboats and lovely, but if you look to the other side of bay you're staring at a large oil refinery. It is highly lit up at night and just glows like a sparkling castle, but ........ I wonder what else might glow after eating fish/clams caught from the same bay. Just kidding, but it was a bit of a surprise to see an oil refinery sharing the same bay with Fidalgo Resort. Secondly, we travel with our dogs - they are quiet and well mannered. We set up pens in our space and when outside BBQing or enjoying the sunshine the dogs enjoy their pen. We never leave them outside unattended nor are they barkers. We were approached our second day there by the park manager (he was pleasant enough) but we were informed that our pens were not allowed at the park due to insurance verbiage. That's a first for us. Dogs have to be on a leash and attached to you at all times. Even with us sitting at the table about 12" from the dog pen it was still not allowed. The dogs must be leashed and attached to you or in your camper/RV/trailer. One of our dogs is a service dog and when she's leashed she's working. Being free in the pen (with no leash or vest on) is how she knows she's "off duty" and she can fully relax. We have used these portable dog pens for 3 years and have never once been told they were viewed as an insurance liability to a campground. I don't think we'll go back to this park due to that rule alone - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
