The June Lake Loop has 4 lakes within easy driving access, as well as many hiking trails to more lakes and waterfalls. Fishing is very popular and most of the lakes rent kayaks, SUP's, fishing boats, etc. The Village of June Lake has a General Store for all of your needs as well as gift shops and restaurants.

On the upside, the campground is two blocks away from a stunning view of Gull Lake with snow capped mountains in the back and it’s a two minute walk to town. However…. Our site, 11, was a huge disappointment. Our view was a cinderblock wall and an RV storage lot. The site was too small for our 34 ft fifth wheel. The picnic table was up against the wall so we could sit on only one side. We didn’t bother to do laundry before arriving since the website stated laundry facilities were available. There were none. We learned it as been out of service for a couple years. We did not have cable, which is also listed. Our stay was vastly improved 2 days into our vacation when the campground host, Alex, came on duty. He went out of his way to accommodate us and moved us to a beautiful site….surrounded by trees instead of a wall. We can’t thank him enough. Best.host.ever.

We love this place! We’ve stayed here twice and both times were great! The staff is super helpful and the campers even came out of their trailers to help us park. Super clean and well taken care of! We will be back next year for sure!

Campground Response

Thank you for the review, Russell! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Excellent location, snuggled right between June and Gull lake. This was our first RV trip, and we were prepared to not use restrooms at camp site. But we were surprised by the cleanliness of site and restrooms. Jimmy the host at the location, made the experience extremely pleasant, helping new campers. Overall Extremely satisfying.

Campground Response

Thank you for the review, Raj. So glad you enjoyed everything! We hope to see you again soon.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED ☹️. They say they allow pets, but they aren’t pet friendly. I have a 6 month old puppy, guess what, puppies bark when they are playing. They camp hosts (Jimmy on the weekends) and some young lady (don’t remember her name) in my opinion need to learn how to handle complaints. WE WONT EVER GO BACK unless it changes ownership. There is a much better option right around the corner, June Lake RV so we’ll try that. We love June Lake and the whole loop.

Campground Response

Hi Bob, Thank you for sharing your opinions. I am the young lady (thanks for that compliment, by the way), Lindsey, and my husband and I own GPRV. I am truly sorry that you misunderstood us to be not pet friendly. We welcome all ages, breeds and sizes of dogs and do not have a limit on how many dogs guests can bring. All we ask is that pets be well behaved and on a leash. I have a dog and I completely understand that puppies and even older dogs bark while playing, when people or other dogs walk by, etc. However, as we discussed at the park, your dog and the other two dogs in your group were barking incessantly for 10-15 minutes at a time, which then caused other guests to complain (multiple times). While we recognize that it is uncomfortable to be approached about your furry friends we also can’t have 25 other sites being disturbed by constant noise. I do hope that you check out June Lake RV, it is a great park. Thank you again, Lindsey

Our host was very nice and helpful . The actual campground was well kept and the bathroom and showers were kept clean. It's not very big but there's enough room to move a trailer around. I would definitely go back and stay again.

Campground Response

Thanks, Ray! Hope to see you again soon!

This is a small campground. We stayed in #10, which is next to the road. Sites are gravel and smaller. They do have picnic tables and fire pit. Did not use the fire pit, it is so close to our rv and our neighbors that the smoke would be bothersome. Check in was easy and manager friendly. Bathrooms and showers are older, but adequate. The price is a bit high for what you get. I give it an average rating for amenities.

Campground Response

Thank you for the thoughtful review, Steve.
