This has become one of our favorite camping spots. We love the East side but this past weekend we were on the West side and it was great also! The campgrounds are so clean and we love having the electric, water and sewer hookups right there! Also, your bathrooms/showers are very clean and that is important!!! Our camp host this past weekend was very nice and personal. Fun activities on Sat!

BEAUTIFUL place! LOVE camping here! BUT??? When reserving it says spots are $35 but when checking out they were actually $38.33 AND $18.40 Tax??????? $3.96 processing FEE AND $17.40 SERVICE FEE????? Would love someone to contact me and tell me WHY???

Campground Response

Hi Jenny. Yes, taxes and fees are never fun! I can explain the breakdown for you. There is a total of 16% paid in City, State and County taxes. It breaks down as 5.5% Sales Tax, 1% State Lodging Tax, 4% County Lodging Tax and 5.9 % City Occupancy Tax. Every month we pay those taxes into the City and State. The reservation fee also includes a $3.00 fee for using Roverpass as the booking site and a credit processing fee. I am sorry that we have to include those taxes and fees onto our reservation price. We try our best to maintain and operate the campground and park at the highest level we can to make the experience here the best possible. Thank you so much for your feedback and for staying with us at Lake C!
