TIme-Out Family Campground

Avoid this place at all costs. The owners/property managers or whatever they are, are absolute lunatics. Rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. We will never be back and will warn everyone we know who utilizes campgrounds in this area to avoid this site.

This campground is okay for campers without any slide outs. Make sure you understand the cancellation policy and DO NOT book early if there is a chance you cannot make your reservation. We booked late winter for this week and it cost $450 or so. I had to cancel on August 19th for a reservation on August 25th. We lost our whole amount. The owners did give us the option to come another week in the 2019 season, but that is impossible with school starting. No other campground we have been to from here to Montana keeps your entire fee. Every one had a cancellation fee and the rest was refunded. When asked about us paying a cancellation fee and getting a refund, I have had no response for 4 days now. If you are looking for a campsite with no internet, no cable and the chance of losing all your money if you need to cancel near Sylvan Beach, then this may be okay for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. As for my husband and I we will not be going here again.

We came to time out family campground in may got a beautiful seasonal site. Our first time ever to Sylvan Beach area. I call this my happy piece of paradise. Relaxing quiet . Lake and beach gorgeous. Owners are making improvements. They are super nice and accommodating. I believe we have found our summer place to be. I am already bummed out that summer is coming to an end but we will be back next season. That will give me something to look forward to thus winter!
