*ATTENTION* NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH Salt Creek RV and Golf . I'm a local.. trust me I know this! There are TWO Salt Creek camping areas that are not that far from each other in W. Port Angeles, WA. Salt Creek Recreation Area is beautiful with an incredible view of the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Very family friendly, great areas for children to play in, the grounds are clean.. some great walking trails, old WWII bunkers... pet friendly too. They have a Plexiglas enclosed picnic shelter (with lovely stone fireplace for those chilly PNW days) that can be rented for family events also. When the tides are low the locals flock there to enjoy their awesome tide pools. Many locals will go camp there for a couple nights just for the beauty of the area. Our camper is self contained so I've never ventured into the bathrooms. There are tent areas, standard pull thru areas as well as larger sites for Class A RVs. The manager of the park can be a bit gruff and direct, but once past your registration and you're all settled in the views will take your breath away. The review about the o-t-h-e-r Salt Creek RV and Golf is accurate. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
