Fisherman's Cove RV Park at Lake Harris

Normally wouldn't do this, but the community needs to know.... This place is extremely over priced ( hotels in town are so much cleaner and updated) and not to mention disgusting. Cleaning staff or lack there of, does a 3 minute walk in and clean. If you like roaches and bugs..THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!! The management, including the night manager are almost always drunk or high. The GM doesn't leave his desk, and avoids anyone wanting to talk to him. They will have the front desk flat out lie to you and say he's in a meeting...( he's never in meetings) but if you want a drink of whiskey come to his office around 4 and he will be glad to drink with you on the clock!! As for the one maintenance person left (one of the snitchs of the group) he will gladly share a cigarette and fall asleep at his desk. I can provide photos or video if you want them.. Don't expect much to get done with your site upon showing up. If your one of the lucky ones to have your boat put in at the marina, hats off to you. Generally he's at home passed out drunk or high saying there's a wind advisory so good luck with that. Now let's talk about the lack of permits they get to do all the electrical work....thats funny what permits or qualified electricians? 95% of the electrical work is done by unqualified maintenance staff. Now for the boat ramp... they are about to redo the cobbled up mess and lets hope they pull permits to do this as well, or contact the water authority as they will be draining the lagoon. Seems like memory serves me correct they were shut down for an extended period of time previously for pouring concrete pads without permits. HATS OFF TO THE CITY FOR SHUTTING THIS DOWN!! Best advice to you is don't plug into the current electrical pedestals. I can say they have been trying to do improvements but there's only so much lipstick you can put on a pig..
