Fire Lake Camper Park is a mostly seasonal campground located near the beautiful town of Bowling Green, Ohio. The park is situated within a restful country setting right outside city limits, is family owned and operated and boasts nearness to BGSU and the popular Slippery Elm Trail.
Amenities & Activities
Campsite amenities offered include a boat ramp, a camp store, a game room, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers, playground, boat rentals, basketball and volleyball court and laundry facilities. Many sites accommodate slide out RVs, and the park provides free WIFI, allows pets and a dump station. Campers can also take advantage of the 96 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly, and great for vehicles up to 40 feet long. Travelers can also enjoy activities such as lake swimming, boating, hiking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing.
Attractions
RVers can look forward to a number of outdoor attractions such as Cedar Point, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, COSI, Maumee State Forest and the Oak Openings Metropark. With so much to experience and see near the campground and the area's long list of excellent craft eateries and pubs, there's no shortage of activities and attractions to enjoy when you stay at the Fore Lake Camper Park. Cabins are no pets, and no smoking. Water is located just outside, and restroom facilities are nearby.
Life jackets required on all boat rentals. Keep all fires in rings, and do not move the rings. The burning wood with screws or nails is not allowedNo motorized vehicles in park. Children may not be on playground or bikes after dark, and no firearms or fireworks permitted in the park. Any person in an intoxicated condition whose behavior becomes offensive will be asked to leave park. Do not throw or move rocks, stones, or sand, and please dispose of all trash in plastic bags and place in dumpster. Do not leave minor children unattended in park. Observe posted swimming, fishing, and boating regulations. No Lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk, but not that swimming outside the roped area is not allowed. Wood County Health Regulation states minors may not swim without an accompanying adult.
Guests must register and pay fee. No guest pets. Guests must leave by 10 pm.
Pets must be on a leash no longer than 8 feet. Please, clean up after pets, and note that guests are not allowed to bring pets
RVers must be 21 to register. Contain all waste water in covered container, and no grey water is to drain onto ground or into lake. Please respect the onsite and surrounding trees: no clothes lines, cutting, or climbing on trees, and do not tie pets to trees.
