The RV Park host, Jennifer, was very pleasant and welcomed us on our arrival. She escorted me to view available sites and helped me select one that was easily accessible and level. The only issue was the water quality and pressure, but Jennifer had told me on arrival that the water would have low pressure and possibly be less than perfect due to being on a well on site.

Missing 5th star is simply because there is no pool or true resort amenities. The land is here, and there are plans for expansion, but for now this park is mostly populated by semi-long term working people. Level gravel spaces with easily accessible utilities: both pull through and back in spots available. It is right off the highway, within sight of a Love’s Travel Plaza, but set back far enough that highway noise wasn’t a bother. Even when outside talking. Big, level, gravel area as you enter to unhook the toad. Adjacent to Dog Park and playground. I came in well after midnight. There was a night button, but it seemed cruel to wake someone up just to assign a space, so I chose a pull through from several spots and left a note on the office door. Jenny left me a sweet text of welcome in the morning. This included the WiFi password and an offer of help should I need anything. We subsequently chatted in person and she was as sweet as her text. Dog Park is perfect for mid-sized to large dogs, but my tiny girls just walked between the pickets! LOL. An adjacent kids playground structure is an enticing climb, swing and slide area (I don’t fare well trying to relive my childhood, so I refrained from visiting it). Business kept me an additional night. I sent Jenny a text and she met me at the office after hours, where it was simple to extend. I did a load of laundry while making dinner and catching up on emails. Washing Machines are all large top loaders. Dryers single load front loaders. Machines are scuffed but well maintained and all were working: $1.50 wash, $2.00 dry. Gulf Coast is 30 minutes away, in case you have time for fun while you are here. Several nice restaurants in town and all the usual fast food. An authentic looking Italian restaurant makes me want to come back just to try their food. All the stores you expect in a small city and a Costco 20 minutes away. The downtown is very cute, with huge murals on walls and colorful paintings on the utility boxes. Many places to eat & drink, play pool, or shop. A massive stainless steel heart near City Hall probably appears in a lot of wedding photos. . I will stay here again. Class A towing a pickup truck.

Nice park, convenient location to Angleton, and easy to maneuver. The manager, Jenny, is super friendly and goes way beyond to ensure everything is good to go. A lot of full timers live in the park which is a good thing safety wise, in my belief; however, a few have super junky areas. The gravel roads and pads are definitely in need of a refresh. We stayed in a Class A Motorhome.
