Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is, as the name suggests, an enchanting park located at Fredericksburg, Texas. Present in the park is the massive pink granite dome rising above Central Texas which has been a great tourist attraction for year. But there’s more at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area than just the dome. The scenery, rock formations and legends are magical, too!

Activities and Amenities:

While at Enchanted Rock you may indulge in a wide range of activities such as hike, backpack, camp, rock climb, picnic, bird, study nature, geocache and stargaze. Hike down the 11 miles of hiking trails or take a virtual tour with the Interactive Trails Map. Present in the park are shops that provide gift items, food, drinks, frozen treats and more for visitors' convenience.
