3 miles west from Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center is the Echo Amphitheater, a favorite among serial visitors to Abiquiu, New Mexico. Schools, clubs and vacationers take advantage of the covered picnic areas and Echo Amphitheater Trail. The last part of the trail has steep stairs leading up to the Echo Canyon, where the rocks are a natural habitat for snakes, so be sure to stay on the trail and off the rocks! There's also tons of hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, skiing and snowboarding to be done. There's rarely a dull moment at the Echo Amphitheater!

This is a very beautiful and spiritual place that is very relaxing to bring the family to. Either it is us passing by for a little bit, a night, or longer. This place has so much and it’s all tranquil. The staff is very laid back and affable. The sites were nice and there were a lot to choose from. Everything was nicely maintained and the facilities were always clean. The amenities were awesome as we got more than just the basics.
The amphitheater was a short walk away from any site which was really nice to listen to all the wondrous kinds of music. There was a lot to be desired here and you have to visit to see it yourself.
