The Coyote Howls Campground is located in the cozy town of Why and is perfect for an easy-going Arizona vacation. Sitting on the Sonoran desert, the park draws in outdoor enthusiasts, and is a great place for a hiking, biking and exploring; it's also a perfect spot for stargazing. The area is also home to thriving southwestern flora, burros, horses and coyotes. Onsite, travelers can enjoy group exercise, breakfasts, crafts, card games, dances, music, & movies as well as flea markets on every second Saturday of the month. The Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge is a popular outdoor site, as are the nearby urban centers of Phoenix and the historic mining town of Ajo.
