Whether they are toddlers or teenagers, children can be a source of satisfaction and joy to any parent or campground. Occasionally, however, they can cause problems, either intentionally or accidentally. With this in mind, the following guidelines have been established. 1. Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children and their visitors at all times and agree to pay for repairs or replacement of any property damage resulting from their actions. 2. Parents must always know the whereabouts of their children. 3. A responsible adult must always accompany children under the age of 6. 4. All children must be at their campsite by 9 p.m. Any violation of this rule will not be tolerated. 5. Children under 15 years of age are not left unattended at the campgrounds. 6. Childers should never be left alone at the campgrounds for any reason. 7. Parents must be constantly responsible for the safety and whereabouts of their children. 8. An adult must always accompany children under 6 years of age. 9. Children are not to climb trees anywhere on Country Charm property.
1. Preschool and children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person while using the playground. 2. Glass bottles and containers are not permitted in the playground area. 3. To keep our roadways clear and in consideration of your neighbor, we ask that you only park two vehicles at your site. If there will be more than two vehicles, these additional vehicles must be parked in the barn's visitor parking area upfront. 1. Speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground. 2. Motorcycles and mopeds are not to be ridden about the campgrounds except when used for transportation to and from the campgrounds. 3. No children can use any motorized vehicles in the campground
Country Charm strongly recommends to all campers to recycle. This follows the town ordinance of Potter and Yates County. Each camper is responsible for all garbage created at their site. There is ZERO tolerance for burning any trash. 1. We have a dumpster by the entrance gate for your convenience. 2. Only household garbage you generate here at the campground can be placed into the dumpster. 3. No outside garbage is to be brought in and placed in the dumpster.
A lifeguard or other responsible person does not supervise the pond. In place of on-site supervision, Country Charm has established a series of safeguards to be followed by everyone. 1. Never be at the pond alone. 2. No swimming is allowed at any time. 3. We recommended using lifejackets when spending time around the pond. 4. Small row boats or paddle boats are allowed. All persons using boats must always wear a lifejacket. 5. Children under the age of 13 must always be accompanied by their parent or guardian. 6. Fishing is allowed. All campers must follow New York State fishing rules and guidelines. We recommend catch and release but, if you catch a fish that you cannot part with, we have established a limit of two fish per day per campsite. 7. The pond is closed to everyone from dusk to dawn. 8. No riding of bikes around the pond. 9. No throwing of anything into the pond. 10. Dogs must be under campers 100% control while at the pond.
