Hey y’all I absolutely love this place, my husband is in the pipeline business. We have been all over the country traveling with the job. We came here last year, I have never been so happy to live anywhere than I am to live here!!!! They cook out at the privillion every night the park gets together every one will bring a dish , someone or a couple of guys will cook every one eats together if they want to, we watch a movie together or have a music nite. Gosh y’all its so much fun. They have karaoke or one of the guest will sing for the group, I’m telling u this place is like no other place I’ve ever lived . I told my husband I never wanted to leave here!

I absolutely love this place. My husband is in the oilfield and I have moved around with him and our daughter for the last two years and stayed in a lot of different oilfield housing and small towns and this is by far the best, most friendly and hospitable place we have stayed. When we got our RV and began looking for a place to stay down here I was a little hesitant because of the lack of reviews but we gave it a chance because of the beautiful photos of the property. Perfect to walk my dogs and play outside with my daughter. I am so glad we came and the last 6 months have been some of the best time we have spent on the road. There are super friendly people working there in the hatchery and the office, the owner is hilarious and very accommodating and there is usually something going on whether it be a BBQ during the super bowl or watching UFC in the pavilion, watching the herd of deer that they feed in the clearing, or fishing on my husband's off days. There is a storm shelter in case of bad weather and there are security cameras all over the property and onsite laundry. We've never had an issue with loud neighbors and the property is kept trimmed and clean. I gave this place a 5 because I have found it to be very family friendly and they have made our stay in south Texas better than I expected it to be!
