The Comanche Trails Campground is located in the beautiful town of Brownwood, and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Right off the lake shore, the campsites has plenty of space for picnicking, exploring, hiking, biking, birding, wildlife viewing, swimming and paddle boarding. Nearby, there's also a number of attractions including the Martin and Frances Lehnis railroad Museum, Santa Fe railroad Depot and Harvey House, Brownhouse County Museum of History and Firearms Museum of Texas and the Gordon Wood Hall of Champions Museum. Travelers can also look forward to a number of excellent parks to explore, hiking, bike and soak in the town's scenic areas, and a ton of great local restaurants for visitors to enjoy tastes of Brownwood's culinary landscape.
