It's a welcomed one nite stop. Lots of room. Great onsite restaurant and bar. It's October and temps were perfect at low 80s. One disappointment no fuel available. It has a city of Fallon address and it's 50 miles away from town. Be sure to fuel in the city.

Campground Response

Thank you for the great review. We are a bit out of town and with that we do not have the noise of a city or the problems of the city. Sorry about the fuel as we do not advertise has having fuel. But to tell you a story, in 2007 there was a catastrophic fire which burned the restaurant down and took out the fuel pumps. Since then current regulations just about prohibit trying to bring fuel back to the our property. So yes fuel up in town where fuel is much cheaper. Thanks, George McNeil Owner

We stayed one night at Cold Springs Station during a blustery ice storm. They had all the comforts: hot food, clean well maintained restrooms, friendly staff, and easy pull through spaces. A fine place to break up the drive.

Loved the location in the middle of beautiful countryside. You can walk anywhere you want on the public lands. The owners and staff were welcoming. The restaurant was good and the service helpful and friendly.

Nicely maintained, well organized, place in a very desolate area. Excellent for overnight stay with great service. Bonus with restaurant/tavern.

Campground Response

Thank you Michael we appreciate you staying with us and if your ever in the area again let us know.

Check in was easy inside at the Bar and Grill. This was a good thing because the grill was going making great burgers for the customers in the bar area. The entire place was clean inside and out. The RV sites were simple gravel areas, well maintained. There was not much to do and see, and little to no traffic noise. Food very good - nice staff.

The owners and staff are great host. They have a bar and restaurant on site which was very convenient. The mountains were amazing. It was our first time at Cold Springs Station Fallon Nevada and will definitely do it again.

Bathrooms were filthy when we arrived. Some of the staff were unfriendly. The restaurant/coffee shop was closed for two days in a row. The showers had uneven water pressure. We definitely will never stay here again. Our recommendation is to stay away!

Campground Response

Mark, Thank you for your review. There is not an excuse we can offer other then we were over capacity during the weekend and our staff was working 10 hour days to keep up with the crowds. The RV bathhouse was cleaned on Tuesday but unfortunately it was after you had already complained. I will apologize for our staff and speak to them about attitude after the big weekends. As for the Restaurant being closed on Tuesday and Wednesday our hours are posted on our website, Google, Yelp and Facebook. We are currently short staffed and with the unemployment so lucrative during the pandemic it is hard to find folks who want to work but the staff we do have are attentive and normally very friendly. We hope you give us another chance when traveling the Loneliest Road in America. George McNeil Owner

I am very disappointed in the fact that this RV park is NOT EVEN close to Fallon Nevada as indicated by the address. When I made the reservation I neglected to call to see how far out of town Coldsprings was. In my past 30 years of RVing the parks have never been more than 15 miles away from there listed town address. BEWARE everyone this park is 61 miles away from Fallon, In the opposite direction of where we were traveling!! The one star is only because I could not submit this review without clicking on one of them. We never went out to this park we kept going in the direction we were traveling and found another one in the next town.

Campground Response

This review is unfair and Cathy you should be ashamed of yourself for posting it... Cold Springs Station Resort has ABSOLUTELY no control over the United States Postal Service and the way they address the Highway. You however are tech savy enough to look up an address on google when you make a reservation. We travel pulling a 42' Fifth Wheel and we check all parks before we make a reservation when planning a trip or when just looking for an overnight spot. So shame on you for posting one star for your own lack of planning. My wish is that we get to review campers as they do us so that we can give you an online reputation and other parks can turn down your reservation because of these type of reviews. Awesome people operate this place, awesome place to RV camp and ride out of. We will be planning more trips from here. People are always more reasonable and lax compared to CA.

A large group of us came to ride and explore over Valentine's weekend. These guys made our stay very accommodating. They had a fire pit that allowed all of us to hang out together at night. Definitely will be back.

Campground Response

Thank you Shannen we are so happy you and your group had a great time. We hope to see you again this spring when all the beautiful colors come out.

This is a very interesting place - truly in the middle of nowhere, but very welcoming. Nice long sites and a great sports bar / pub with excellent food. We only stayed one night - just passing through on Rt 50 - the official "Loneliest Road in America". Interesting to hear the stories about the Pony Express.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty of room in the 50-amp pull thru for our 44ft trailer. We stayed the weekend and had breakfast the first morning and a burger that afternoon, food was good and Bar is well stocked. A lot of great OHV trails! We will definitely stay again.

We just spent a great weekend at Cold Springs Station with friends for what has become an annual getaway. The park and cafe are well maintained, the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is great. Take the time to explore the backroads in the area, which are steeped in history. The surrounding area is wide open desert and is very peaceful and beautiful.

Great RV park in just the right location. We stayed at Cold Springs Station overnight on our way across Nevada on the Loneliest Highway. The space was a large easy pull-through with full hookups, clean shower rooms and a wonderful bar and restaurant. We had delicious burgers for dinner and the breakfast special was also very tasty and filling. The owners and employees are all friendly and easy to chat with. We would definitely stop here again next time we find ourselves in this area. Highly recommend!!!
