Price was right. Great location - far enough from tracks and highway for minimal noise, close enough to Chimney Rock to get a good photo of our trailer with the landmark in the background. Disappointed that the store/office was apparently closed for the season.

Great location for viewing and visiting Chimney Rock. While the park was open for RV's the facilities were closed for the season during our visit. There are fairly busy train tracks north of the park. Our first night it seemed like a train came through nearly every hour but the rest of our stay it was only a couple per night. We were also there when mosquitos were bad in the evening. Good location, good hookups and a very well maintained park.

Great place to stay - 15 sites with full hook - 1 site with just electric & water ; owners are really nice & help with all your needs (even if you need an ice cream fix after hours :) ) . Short distance from many attractions. No Wi-Fi, showers or bathrooms - so nice for grown ups looking for a quiet get away with a beautiful view. Will be going back next year.

It is a small well kept campground. The owner. (Joe) was very friendly and informative of the area. We were there after the summer break so the camp shop was closed for the season. We stayed there for two separate days.

Nice low frills campground. The owner, Joe, is a great guy and gave us excellent recommendations for sites to see. The campground is laid out nicely with amazing view of chimney rock. All utilities are exactly where they should be (unlike so many places). Five stars

Joe and Laura were super nice, friendly, and we enjoyed speaking with them. The campground was exactly what we were looking for; just a bit of site seeing, but mostly some down time. Their food from the concession AND the ice cream, did the trick. Thanks so much for the great hospitality! We enjoyed our time here.

Nice family owned campground. Full hookup pull through sites were level. Great view of chimney rock. Only 20 minutes away from Scotts Bluf National Monument.

Very much a destination park. We stopped in Western Nebraska to see Chimney Rock and Scott's Bluff and Pioneer Crossing was just across the field from the former. Owners could not have been nicer. We ate at their small take out and the food was delicious. Site was level and all of the utilities worked fine. No showers or restrooms, but didn't need them. Somewhat close to Bridgeport and Gering so supplies and laundry was not a problem. Lots of trains pass the area and the two mainline tracks were close. Didn't bother us, but you knew they were there.

Spartan but adequate. Would not want to be here when it's windy. Nice view of Chimney Rock especially at night.

Great location with an unobstructed view of Chimney Rock. The grounds are very well maintained, and our site (#8) was very large. Good water pressure and full hookups (50/30). No internet, but T-Mobile was sometimes strong enough to stream TV. No amenities (laundry, pool) or shade! We enjoyed our stay there, the owners were friendly and helpful, the location is a plus. If you’re self contained and don’t need all the bells and whistles, this is the place for you!

What a great little campground! The staff is friendly, helpful and maintain meticulous care of the ground's. And of course it’s extremely difficult to beat the scenery and history.

We enjoyed our stay here - 1 night only; (owner) Joe was great. The store had delicious ice cream, with homemade waffle cones, which were fantastic! Beautiful view of Chimney Rock!

This quiet campground had a beautiful view. We came in late and tired, but when the owner noticed us having trouble getting level he came over to help. We were only there for one night but were impressed!

Lovely campground, amazing hosts. Awesome view of Chimney rock. Sites are open. There are only a few sites in the campground. Would stay at again if passing through.

The campground was very well maintained, level sites, clean showers, exceptional office and gift shop (with plenty of ice!), and dog friendly. The proprietors are extremely nice, professional and helpful with all our questions. The setting is extremely relaxing and close to many natural sites in the area (Chimney Rock National Historic Site, Courthouse & Jail Rocks, Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, Scotts Bluff National Monument). The view at night from the RV Park of Chimney Rock lit up is mesmerizing. The town of Bayard 3 miles away has a full-service grocery store and laundromat. On behalf of Miles (Golden Retriever, 9), Gus (Black Labrador Retriever, 5) and Breaux (Chocolate Labrador Retriever, 3), thank you for a great stay! Definitely planning to return.

Nice little campground and in a nice location to see Chimney Rock. The hosts were great and the little trading post provided a nice spot for a drink and ice cream.

I had a great time here! I was traveling through Nebraska and needed a spot with electric to run AC while the heat wave came through. This was very easy to find a to get into. Check in was a breeze and all the sites are pull throughs which is nice. The whole time we were there it was quiet, clean, and just well maintained. The facilities inside are really nice and they have ice cream, souvenirs for Chimney Rock, and even bags of ice. This is such a great spot for a good price!

Friendly, accomodating folks. 24 yrs in business, must be doing something right. Delicious ice cream. One knock, no showers. Sign said closed for season on shower door, July 7th. 5 star other than that.

Stopped here for two nights to see Chimney Rock and the Legacy of the Prairie museum. Joe and Lara were great, cooking us a BLT and a burger plus great ice e both days. The campground suited our needs as we didn’t need laundry or wifi.
