I was looking for the perfect place to seclude myself and work on some things I'd been writing and a friend recommended Crow Creek Mine. It was absolutely perfect. "Getaway" doesn't really even begin to describe it. I had to drive down a few good miles of dirt road to find the place, and privacy was of no concern at all here. There was nothing near my camper except for a bench and a fire pit, and that's why I loved it. If you want to socialize or feel like doing something different, be sure to visit the Mine and pan for gold.
