RV Park & Tropical Gardens??? This has to be one of the worse places I have ever been too. So much so that I pulled in, tried to find the non-existent office, drove through the horrendous conditions, and drove right out to find another place to stay. If I could have given this place less than one star, I would have. The "RV Park & Tropical Gardens" is behind a run down industrial park. I was not even able to locate the office (which was closed and nobody would answer the phone). The "Tropical Garden" consisted of a nasty swamp area, tall grass, dead trees and plants, and dumpsters. I gave them a $100 deposit but, I was never given an assigned spot. So I had no idea where I was suppose to have stayed had I even stayed there. I called the next day to get a refund, but was told "The owner does not give refunds." and "It says no refunds when you make a deposit." I am a business owner myself and have requested several times that the owner give me a call so I could let him know of my experience, but he has yet to call me back. If you are looking for a nice and relaxing place to stay, I highly recommend that you do not stay at Daytona RV Park & Tropical Gardens. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I hope that losing my $100 deposit will prevent anyone else from having to lose money ar waste money at this place. As a side note, I honestly think that any of the positive reviews for this place must have come from family and friends who have never stayed at this DUMP of an "RV Park & Tropical Garden".
