This is a wonderful campground. Very clean and well kept up. The owner Melanie goes out of her way to make sure everything is ok. It is located on a private lake where you can dock your boat and fish. But she also has rentals for you if you want to go fishing. But I’m sure you would be able to catch fish right from shore. I know I will stop again if I’m ever in this area.

Melanie is the new owner of the campground and is great. She is very friendly and helpful, even giving us her cell phone number. There is plenty of shade and an 8-acre lake that Melanie stocks with Bass, Bream, and Catfish. I didn't get a chance to do any fishing this time but we will be back. We have family in the area and the campground is very conveniently located for us. Due to Covid, the bathhouse was closed so we can't comment on it. Below is a description of the campground from their Google webpage. Wendy Oaks RV Resort is a small quaint campground with 37 RV sites (16 pull-throughs). All sites are full hookups (electric, water, sewer) with picnic tables and fire pits. There is laundry/shower house and a beautiful 8-acre lake stocked with bass, bream, and catfish."

This park was very inviting and we had a lovely stay. The staff was kind and very helpful. The view from all parts of the park was stunning. The facilities and utilities were very clean. There aren’t a lot of amenities or activities but those don’t matter when it comes to camping. This park gave us exactly what we were looking for. This is a great place to park our big rig and have enough room to pitch our tents and lay out under the stars telling stories by the fire. It’s the simple life and little things that matter. They didn’t ask for much for a night and because of everything we got from this place we will be going back.
