Nice smaller camping area, with full hook-ups and fair rates. Friendly folks that own and run it, would stay again if in that area.

Nice little hole in the wall RV park. Needs some TLC as far as trees trimmed, have many light scratches on my full paint 5th wheel. Spots very tight for a 41 foot 5th wheel. Good owners

Level concrete full hook up site just a few miles from downtown. We enjoyed our stay as it was quiet. A few trains pass by during the day, but not at night. Laundry had one washer and dryer, but was convenient and very clean. Would definitely return if in the area.

People are super nice at the campground and the little town. If you are a wizard of oz fan the Museum is great. One washer dryer, outdoor shower. Grass not mowed. Okay for a one night stay.

The owners are very nice and accommodating! Cozy little spot on the East side of Wamego, minutes from everything the town has to offer. It’s quiet at night, which is helpful after a long day of travel.

We have a great night's stay. Clean area. We just needed a place to lay our heads and they were very accommodating. When ever I pass through and need a spot I will return.

We got stuck in the overflow rev parking which means it is at the end of a storage facility building. At 6 in the morning construction started on the storage facility. When I spoke to the owner she said she didn’t know they would start this early and that no one has ever complained!! I just got a not very sincere apology! I would have rather slept in a gas station parking lot, then I would have received an experience slightly better than what we got at Calvin’s.

Dave and Ed were awesome hosts! We arrived on a Friday and the park wasn't a ghost town like many we've stayed at before. Ed helped us find our spot and were super welcoming. The park is clean and very well-maintained and my husband particularly liked how close it was to the Kansas River for canoeing. It's really low-key and quiet, so bring stuff for campfires and roasting marshmallows because you're probably going to have some awesome warm nights to hang with your group. Will return soon!

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your review, Davina! We appreciate your thoughtful feedback; come back again soon!
