Cable Mountain Campground

, Anaconda, MT,

Just a few miles from the gorgeous Georgetown Lake is the Cable Mountain Campground. It's also just north of Flint Creek, and that makes this campground excellent for trout fishing. At an elevation of over 6,000 feet, visitors can look forward to fresh, clean air and lush forestry, perfect for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Campers can also expect water skiing, boating and swimming, as well as stargazing at night. This is a truly excellent spot for exploring the expansive outdoors of Montana.

Amenities at the park include: toilets, picnic tables and RV hookups. See you soon!

We decided not to push to Pheonix and stopped here. Staff was very nice and place was easy to get to off I-10. Requested a pull thru but the woman working said she had a back in riverfront spot and they would help back us in. Wow! The view and closeness of the river made for a perfect stay. Our favorite part was watching the sunset and the full moon reflect over the water. We had our two dogs who swam in the river, they even had a dog beach and island! Wanted to stay longer which I never thought I would say about Blythe, CA. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
