Brantley Lake is New Mexico's southernmost lake, and is an oasis of flora, fauna and gorgeous New Mexico skies. Enjoy iconic sunrises and sunsets over the lake, as well as exceptional bird watching. If you're a fan of water activities, look forward to the area's best canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing, and for the land lovers, there's plenty of hiking, biking and scenic viewing to be done. Be sure to visit the Carlsbad Caverns to see some breathtaking underground formations.

The park is over year round and is primitive, with bare RV hookups, restrooms and showers. You'll be blown away by the scenery and activities here, so plan for a week long stay!
