This experience getting to stay in the cabins with waking up to a view of the lake with the first step out the door or even threw the Windows was very amazing! Although we were only able to rent for one night it was rewarding with it being lucky to having one vacant at the last min. I'd rather stay here were it's peaceful, beautiful views, affordable and all the adventuring outside activities than in the city were it's loud, busy and everythings costy any day.. Just note for u coffee drinkers, bring ur own coffee pot. They arent furnished but I'd rather have my own any ways. The Marina was fun to explorer as well, if you're a browser or a shopper you'll enjoy n I can almost garuntee you won't walk out empty handed.. Well I know I will be back as soon as it's vacant. Thank you

We are currently staying here. Love this place, has great fishing areas and the management is super friendly and helpful. Lake LaCygne is the 2600 acre cooling pond for KCPL's LaCygne power station. The fishing is good here due to the warmth of the lake. No swimming is allowed only fishing boats. The park occupies the western side of the lake. Most of campground is between 2 hills so cell phone coverage is spotty. On air TV reception is poor. No wifi is offered. There are several loops that are close to the water. The main loop is the only one with full hookups. One loop has only electric hookups, electric loop (the name is self explanatory), the rest have electric and water. The Marina Loop is all taken with Full Timers. They do have several rustic cabins. The marina offers a septic dump service for $15 or there is a dump station you can pull up to. There is a laundry facility at the main loop. Two washers and dryers, reasonable priced at a $1 a load. Showers are kept clean. Only problem is that if someone is doing laundry you will not have hot water for a shower. Full hook up rate is $14 a day for 30 amp service which includes a $2 a day park permit. If you plan on spending longer than a week it is cheaper to purchase the yearly park permit for $15 .Full hook up rate when you purchase yearly permit is only $12 a day. First come first serve, select site and pay at the marina when open. The marina is well stocked and clean. You can get anything from snacks to bait. Marina is closed on Monday and Tuesday - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
