This park's the way to go if you don't like sitting still on your vacations. I had a blast here last fall visiting nearby attractions with my girlfriends and keeping busy. We went to Mt. Baldy and didn't ski of course, but really enjoyed hanging out and eating there. All the restaurants in proximity of the park are great - some are a little pricey, but we sort of saw that coming. We also strapped in for the lengthy drive to Long Beach, but even though it was super touristy, it was definitely worth it! Back at the campsite, we also had a lot to do. We're not big on using the grill, but ended up barbecuing chicken and sausages with some other campers. Everyone there was so friendly; it was a lot of fun! Some of them were grilling fish they caught at Lytle Creek, which was super cool! As for the park itself, there were several dozen sites, but we never felt too cramped, and the bathrooms and laundromats were so clean.
