Black Rock Canyon Campground

Hi Dana! The campground was built late 80’s, like much of Nenana has its own rich history from at one time being a river slough area to the historic cabin office. But thankfully has been able keep up with the needs and have the trees grow tall enough to provide shade now! You are right, mosquitoes in Alaska are relentless! Bug spray, nets, the sun, and swallows are some of our best friends here! I hope your travels are enjoyable and you come again if ever in our area.
