Rules

Basics

You must be at least 25 years old to book a reservation and check-in. Valid ID will be required. Check-In & Check-Out RV Sites: Check-Out 11:00am and Check-In 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Cottages: Check-Out 11:00am and Check-In 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Occupancy limits are enforced. 6 per RV site and 6 per cottage. Contact office for additional guests, which will be subject to discretion and a fee. We are a family-friendly resort. Guests should be prepared to follow our policies, especially common courtesies.

Pet Policy

RV Sites: 2 domestic pets are permitted. Pets must remain restrained/leashed. Please use designated pet run areas for litter/waste and pick up after your pet. Excessive barking and aggressive behavior is not permitted. Cottages: One dog 25 pounds and under is permitted in designated cottage #29 ONLY with a pet waiver and pet fee. Cottage pet policy will be emailed to you after confirmation. If you would like to see the cottage pet policy in advance, please contact our office at (419) 502-2555. Special accommodations can be made for registered service animals. Please contact the Resort office. Pets are not permitted in the pool area or any building.

Modify/Canceling your Reservation

General Cancellation Policy: All reservations are due in full at time of booking. If a reservation is canceled prior to 14 days of check-in, a full refund will be issued minus any platform and credit card fees. Reservations canceled between 7 and 14 days will receive a 50% refund minus fees and cancellations under 7 days will receive no refund. PLEASE NOTE: For reservations booked through Oakwood Lodging or those receiving a special group rate, cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to check-in to receive a full refund minus fees. Early departures are not entitled to a refund. Reservations are held until 11:59pm the day of your scheduled check-in on a single day reservation or 11:59pm on the second day after your scheduled check-in on a multi-day reservation. If you are arriving after 6:00pm, please call us at 419-502-2555. (Arrangements must be made to gain entry into the resort after 6:00pm.) If you have not contacted us by phone to advise of your arrival time, your site will be made available for rental. There are no refunds.Specific site requests or bookings are not guaranteed.

RV Sites

RV’s must be in good working order and condition. RV’s over 15 years old must register with management before booking. Tent camping is not permitted. Please, no stakes in the ground, clotheslines or other fixtures. No overnight exterior lighting. REMINDER: You are near the Sandusky Bay, it gets windy and weather conditions can change quickly! We recommend you place tables, chairs and all other amenities you may bring inside when leaving the property or overnight.

Housekeeping

Cottages are provided with linens and some housewares (see amenities for a full list). We do not provide daily cleaning. Trash disposal, towel and linen changes are made between guest stays or after three (3) nights of stay. RV guests are expected to dispose of garbage in designated areas (please do not leave at site). A $350 cleaning fee will be charged for any smoke smell removal.

Tobacco/Vaping/Cannabis

Smoking and/or Vaping is not permitted in any Cottage, pool area or inside any building or within 25 feet of such areas. Cannabis use and possession in smokeable form is prohibited on the premises, including outdoor areas. Violators are subject to immediate cancellation of their reservation and removal from the park without refund.

Courtesies

Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am. Noise, including the playing of music and televisions, should be kept to a minimum at all times so as not to disturb others or create a nuisance. We ask that you conduct yourself with decorum. Public intoxication, profanity, abusive language, threats, harm or injury to persons or property are cause for removal from our property without refund. No soliciting or advertising is permitted within the Resort. Fireworks and pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited (...by the City of Sandusky too!). Brandishing or displaying any type of weapon is strictly prohibited. Drones are not permitted within the Resort.

Common Areas

Pool hours are posted by management. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. No lifeguard is on duty. Pets are not permitted in the pool area. Open fires are permitted only in designated areas. Alcohol and glass bottles are not permitted in Common Areas. Bicycle, scooter and hoverboard riding is not permitted after dark.

Parking

Each reservation is entitled to one vehicle parking space at their site. Additional vehicles will be charged. Additional vehicle parking will be in spaces designated by Resort and may not be in close proximity to your site. Please contact the Resort for parking of boats, personal watercraft or trailers that do not fit within your designated parking space.

Guests

All guests must be escorted through the security gate. Guests must park in designated areas and are prohibited from parking at other sites.

Access to Sandusky Bay and Breakwall

Please observe all posted signs. Swimming and fishing is strictly prohibited in the basin or from docks. Fishing from the breakwall on the Bay-side is permitted. Licenses are required by ODNR and are not available on site. Chairs are only permitted on the breakwall so long as they do not interfere with others’ use and enjoyment of the breakwall, including accessibility. Kayak and boat launch for paying guests of CVB is permitted at your own risk.

Other Fine Print

Checking out after required time will result in being charged for an additional day at current rates. Violation of any policy, including occupancy or common courtesies will result in removal from the Resort without refund.

Privacy Policy

We will hold your reservation information private unless you specifically authorize us in writing to disclose your reservation and/or are required to disclose pursuant to a court order.

Disclaimers

We do try our best to ensure all information provided to you is accurate, including pricing, availability and amenities at our Resort. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. By accepting your reservation, you agree to all terms and conditions of your reservation and stay imposed by the Resort. You agree to hold the Resort harmless for personal inconveniences, fees, property damage, costs, or any other claim for loss or damage relating to or arising out of your reservation, stay or use of our property. You also agree to indemnify the Resort for any losses, claims, fees or damages we may incur or experience as a result of your actions or inaction. You also agree to accept responsibility for any guest at your site or accommodation.

What a wonderful RV storage. The view was amazing across the water to Cedar Point. The place is kept clean. The bathrooms were the cleanest and better styled than some 5 star hotels I've been in. Chris on the staff there is out every morning picking out trash and other items the geese leave over night. It's an amazing campground with level sights and you rarely find. We are fans!!! We recently stayed at Bayfront Resort at Cross View with our RV and had a fantastic experience. Here’s a quick overview of what we loved about it: 1. Location: 
The resort is located right on beautiful Sandusky Bay! It’s conveniently close to both Cedar Point and downtown Sandusky. It is on 1st Street off of the Cedar Point Causeway which made exploring the area so easy and when Cedar Point traffic backed up we had no trouble getting in and out of Bayfront to get to downtown Sandusky. 2. Amenities: 
The resort offers excellent amenities. The pools (closed for the season but still spotless clean), laundry facilities, bathhouse, clubhouse, were clean and well-maintained. The clubhouse had a great selection of board games to play with the family on the rainy day! 3. RV Sites: 
The RV sites are very large and had a large cement area for the RV and patio. It included a very nice resin picnic table. We found the sites spacious and level, making it easy to set up our RV. There were also full hookups, Wi-Fi, and a dumpster for trash. We had a pull-through spot located close to the water, so we could see Cedar Point across the bay! The sunsets at night were amazing! 4. Cabins: We didn’t stay in a cabin but they looked really cute, well positioned for a good view, and look liked they slept quite a few people. 5. Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived (we had scheduled a late arrival) and were always available if we needed anything. At night they did their rounds, and in the morning were up early picking up geese droppings. 6. Pet-Friendly: 
If you’re traveling with pets, you’ll be happy to know that this resort is very pet-friendly. Our labradoodle Pixel had a great time, especially in the dog park area. They have dog waste bags and a trash can right by the dog park. We had a wonderful time at Bayfront Resort at Cross View and would highly recommend it to fellow RVers. Whether you’re staying for a short getaway or a longer visit, this resort has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, small, full hookup campground! Fully gated and dog friendly, they even pick up goose poop! For a pet parent, that is pawsome!!! Nice staff and beautiful views. Can get very windy due to being by the lake, but the views are spectacular!

BEAUTIFUL, Prestine campground with pleasant staff, excellent ground keepers. All paved road & large cement pad with 3way hoook up. This location is on the waterfront & stunning views with amusement park in view. Many local attractions are within minutes & easy to visit . It offers beautiful cottages to rent also. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay!

Took my nephew to cedar point. We were all impressed with view of cedar point from our camp ground. All areas including bathroom kept very clean. Staffs are friendly. We loved staying at Bayfront resort at cross view.
