My favorite part of this park experience is the weather no doubt. Even though you'd get the four seasons here, it's never extreme, but always super mild which is excellent because then you can visit this park almost anytime of the year. I also like that there's a lot to do at the park itself, but also a ton of activities on the outside. Golfing seems to be the thing to do, but I really enjoyed antique shopping at one the nearby stores. At the site itself, most people gravitated toward biking and hiking, which were super fun, but I will say that some of the trails are challenging so be careful! I also visited to the Colombia Gold Mining Town; I didn't find anything but it was a really cool experience. I love that there was so much to do near the site, which catered fully to my needs. The log cabin I stayed in was very simple, but functional, so I didn't have to struggle to find a working sink or toilet - thank God! I'd definitely recommend this spot for an adventurous but easy-going escape. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
