10.9-10.11.2024 As advertised, a quiet campground in a peaceful setting. Sites have electric and water. Lots of space. Level. Playground had lots of fun equipment - we have no kids but appreciated a fine playground when we saw one. Dog park is one of the largest we've used- Lucy approved - and totally clean of other visitor's poop (EXTREMELY unusual and MUCH appreciated). The owner, Dwayne was a great host, pleasant and remembered our name. He welcomed our expected visitors acknowledging they were our "old" friends 😁.

My husband and I booked a weekend stay for Father's day, the very first day, we were in awe of all we saw...first off, our welcome was very upbeat and friendly, and very accommodating. The area was very clean , and spacious. Trails to hike, and river beds to search around in for special rocks, and arrow heads, ( which my husband found one!!!) open yard area for setting up corn holes or horse shoes if you wanted. A nice pond and beach area to cool down in with the weather being so hot. and a Sunday morning church service, was such a blessing!!! A must stay....JUST GO!!!!

I just returned from a weekend of camping at the Back 40 Campground, and I absolutely loved it. The campground is very well maintained and the sites are roomy. My site was level. They have 2 ponds where you can fish, kayak and take your dog swimming. They are pet friendly ($2 per dog per stay) and have a dog park. They offer activities in the lodge as well. When I was there, they had a Souperbowl soup cookoff and Beer Cap Bingo. Their quiet hours start at 10pm and it was lovely. On clear nights, you can see stars forever. I can't wait to return.

Great oasis, surrounded by woods, in the middle of the Ohio farmland. The owners were very welcoming and keep the grounds perfectly maintained. Sites are not crowded and we had 6-7 perfect ones to choose from. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Back 40 Canpground. The staff there was exceptionally friendly. They personally took us to our site and offered to help guide us in and get hooked up. The sites were very clean, spacious and had grills and very nice firepits. We even had someone come by and give us a bundle of firewood. I don't know if he was part of the staff or just a very nice camper. On our next trip up that way we will definitely make reservations to stay there again.

I have been camping for many years, and the back 40 campground was the cleanest most peaceful campground I have been to in a long time. The swimming pond had a nice sandy beach area clean from moss. The fishing pond was also nice and clean caught a couple fish. The owners and staff was always nice and helpful. Definitely we'll be going back.
