Arrowhead Cabins and Camping will be alerted immediately and will approve your reservation after checking availability.
*** 2024 Eclipse Info *** Practically no light pollution. We're working on even getting that turned off for a few hours.

--- For the eclipse only, ---
* Reservations are 100% non-refundable. Rains, snow, flat tires (We hope not!), illness (We hope not!), alien abduction (Not too likely.). We're doing this by request only. Go ahead and request to book and we'll make sure you're informed before you choose to lock in your reservation. We're not so strict most of the year. Thanks for understanding!
* Check-ins must be before Monday. Please be here by Sunday night. We want you to avoid the traffic and last-minute stressors.
* We strongly suggest you stay over Monday night. Let everyone else in the area clear out while you chill on the river.
* We will be marking off 20' x 20' site spaces. They are still first-come/first-served. Expect to be close to your new friends. Unless you are early, expect that you may be away from the river, over by the creek or the RV area. But, no more than a few minutes walk. The whole campground is pretty, we promise.
* Tenters may be asked to park away from their tent. We'll keep you as close as we can (within walking distance) and you will be able to drive to your site to pick-up/drop-off.
* Please leave your pets at home.
* We will be selling ice and firewood. Our suppliers are small businesses, too. We will have as much as they can keep up with.
* Bring extra TP. We will have extra compost toilets.
* Electricity will be limited to cell phone charging and other small electronics. Please do not bring heaters.
* Keep alcohol consumption within reasonable levels. Ok, that's always. :D
* Keep an eye out for messages from us as we think of ways to make this event run smoothly.
* Questions Welcomed!
--- Regular Season Below ---
* Extra guest pricing and some other things are based on the eclipse, right now. Talk with the office for regular pricing. **
Shaded, semi-primitive, non-defined (first come/first served) camping. You may even score a riverfront spot, depending on when you arrive. Many people prefer along the shady creek. We have 15 beautiful shaded acres, so you'll definitely find a spot. Please note, when you are looking at the map, the numbered areas are RV sites, Not tent camping. Look for the areas on the Campground Map that say "camping". The big E denotes shared electrical hookups.
We have big clean bathrooms and hot showers. Camping areas are both near and far from small rustic cabins and RVs. Choose secluded locations or new friends. Shared electricity in some places. Bring your long extension cord. We also have a little shop that likely has anything you forgot. A full grocery store is 8 miles away, also. We sell firewood, ice and ice cream, too!
NOTE: If the office is closed, pick a spot and check-in in the morning.
During peak season, we sell ice. We have firewood all year. The firewood is in the big metal box by the office ($8/bundle) and the ice ($4/bag) is by the bathhouse.
There is basic WIFI that works for WIFI-calling but is not always reliable for streaming services. We are working on upgrading the campground WIFI in 2024. If you need solid WIFI for a conference call, we can set you up in our upstairs office.

Our max night of stays is 10 nights. Contact us for extensions.
Ask about pricing for additional vehicles for the eclipse. All other times, two vehicles are included in the nightly price and we're not very picky about that either. :D
Shhhh…. please. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Have fun but keep the music, lights, and chatter within your site. Remember some people are in tents nearby and some are going fishing early.
Tents: 10 a.m. or later. Call if you want to come earlier. Spots are first-come/first-served. Check-out before 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Please make arrangements the night before, or at the latest by 9 a.m., if you would like to stay an extra night. It happens a lot!
Eclipse only - No pets. Otherwise, yes please! Did you bring dogs? We luuuv dogs here! But…please no pit bulls or pit-looking pets or generally aggressive dogs. As dog lovers, we think pitties are great. But they can make others nervous, and everyone deserves a relaxing vacation. Thank you for understanding. Pets must be up to date on shots and stay on leashes. Iguanas are an exception to leashes, but if they get stuck in a tree, you’re on your own. Poop bags are available at the office. Unfortunately, you will be asked to leave if you violate this policy and that's no fun for anyone! Thank you for understanding. Questions? Give us a call. Please limit two dogs/reservation.

Just seven miles away in Glenwood, you will find Wright's (a full grocery store), Plyler's (a full hardware store), Dollar General, two laundromats, several restaurants, and an axe-throwing venue. We are in a dry county. Amity is the closest place to purchase alcohol (20 minutes). Please keep alcohol consumption to reasonable levels.
There are several local float outfitter companies we can recommend. Book early!
We're near tons of hiking, biking, OTV trails and surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. Diamond and crystal mining and historic Hot Springs, AR.
