I have stayed at Apollo RV Park for quite some time now and I can tell you one thing for sure...you will never meet any better people than Fletcher and Betty Little, who own and run this park.! This Family owned and run business is an example of what has made America great...Honesty, hard work and integrity! These folk's cater to the people who love "The Home of Nascar" along with folk's who come here to work via work contract due to our thriving economy in the area. This RV park is pet friendly, and ask that you be a responsible pet owner { scoop } and require your pet to be "leashed" at all times. This is good for everyone who stays here. Please plan your stay in advance, especially during the busy "Nascar" season, Apollo books up quickly { as the best places always do}....

I've had my RV parked here for several months. The park is clean, quiet and I always feel safe. The owners live on site, friendly good folks, and are always available for help. Highly recommended. Great location also.

Very unsafe campground. While setting up camp, I saw a pit bull dog, running loose, attack a Chijuajua being walked on a leash. The Chijuajua was injured with multiple bite punctures. Since I was traveling with 3 small, gentle dogs, I went to the office to ask for a different campsite farther away from the vicious dog. This request was rudely denied by the owners. I was told to keep MY dogs under control. When I reminded the owners that the pit bull was running loose, and the dog that was attacked was on a leash, I was told by one of the owners that I could "Take my happy ass out of there," without refund. Later, one of the owners offered to refund half of my site rental if I left immediately. I declined this offer, but I will never return to this property where the owners refuse to take even basic steps to protect guests and their property. No action was ever taken against the owner of the pit bull. Persons with pets or small children should avoid this unsafe campground.
